Sweet potatoes are a commonly served fall dish. Whether they’re offered at a typical dinner or served up as a side dish at Thanksgiving, the food makes a sweet addition to the menu. Sweet potatoes offer many health benefits, making them worthwhile to enjoy at fall time and throughout the rest of the year.
They Contain a Healthy Dose of Vitamin A

Due to the Vitamin A and Vitamin C content in sweet potatoes, the veggies offer a lot of antioxidants. Instead of grabbing the typical orange sweet potatoes most commonly seen, people should search the store shelves for the purple sweet potatoes.
