Essential Healthcare Service Statement
As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues, work from home situations, virtual schooling, sedentary lifestyles and other stresses continue to take a toll on the U.S. population. This has elevated the concern over spinal health for millions of Americans. At The Joint Chiropractic, we understand the critical role we play in helping to keep America moving as you reclaim your everyday routines.
The safety of our patients, doctors and staff remains our highest priority and underpins our mission as an organization. We know that many will continue to have healthcare needs that can be helped through chiropractic care. Therefore, our clinics remain open, when and where possible, reflecting our unshakable commitment to providing convenient and affordable chiropractic care in our local communities.
This position is supported by chiropractic associations, healthcare organizations and governmental agencies that view chiropractic as an essential healthcare service, including the International Chiropractors Association and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Chiropractic can be used by those with a wide array of health conditions and in times of urgent need, diverting patients experiencing pain out of strained medical systems and emergency rooms. We know the vast majority of our patients view our service as essential to their physical and mental health.
Since the onset of COVID-19, we have increased hygiene and clinic cleaning routines, revised seating and/or adjusting tables to create space between patients, required mask use for clinic staff and implemented enhanced monitoring and operations protocols. We continue to follow clinic procedures as outlined by healthcare organizations and leading authorities within the chiropractic profession. With sincere appreciation, we at The Joint Chiropractic thank you for your loyalty, support and patience during this extraordinary year. There is nothing more important to us than meeting the needs of you, our patients, and we’re dedicated to serving as your friends in health. Hear more from our President and CEO, Peter Holt.
