Meet The Doctors
Dr. Michael Otoupalik, or more commonly known as “Dr. O” has been practicing in Orange County for over 35 years. Soon after graduation, he achieved his C.C.S.P. – Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and soon after that, his Diplomate in Chiropractic Sports Medicine. With his chiropractic skills and training, he has traveled extensively with pro, elite and college bicycle road teams, nationally and internationally with USA Triathlon, and in-practice care with youth soccer, youth gymnastics and competitive cheer.
At home he has been happily married for over 30 years and has two adult children as well as two dogs, which keeps him and his wife very very busy. Past times with his wife includes: bicycling, walking, watching Soccer and time spent with Family and Friends.
At The Joint, Dr. O is committed to providing the highest quality chiropractic care he can, improving quality of life through routine and affordable chiropractic care.
Dr. Geoffrey Hargett grew up in Ramona, CA, a small town in San Diego County. From a young age he had always been interested in science and knew he wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field. In high school he attained his 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do Korean Karate and played Varsity Men's Volleyball.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree in 2007 at UC Irvine and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2013 at Southern California University of Health Sciences. He has practiced Chiropractic for over 12 years in the Orange County Area and did his clinical internship at the CSULA Student Health Center. He has also provided Chiropractic care at several charitable clinics in the Los Angeles Area; including the Saban Community Clinic, the Being Alive Clinic, the Dream Center and the Venice Family Clinic. Since 2011, he has provided chiropractic care on multiple medical mission trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He has been selected as one of America's Top Chiropractors in 2016, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
In his free time Dr. Hargett loves going on adventures with his wife and his two sons. He is an avid outdoorsman, winemaker and loves to travel.
