I was visiting Colorado to see family, I live in West LA, and the morning of my flight I threw out my neck horribly (the plane ride was so uncomfortable…). I NEEDED a chiropractor and was drawn to Dr. Matt Basilio because of his background in CCEP and treating sports injuries, so I felt like he would be effective yet gentle. And WOW, he exceeded my expectations. I don’t think my back has ever cracked so much in my life, I felt like a new woman walking out of his office! The relief I felt was unbelievable. I could breathe better, my pain was down significantly, and I gained mobility back into my neck. My adjustment was so good, I went back to see him again before my flight home to LA. If I lived nearby, I’d go see him all the time! 10/10

I can't say enough about Dr. Matt and his care. I've been searching for years for a chiropractor near home that is thorough, affordable, and recommends exercises and stretching that can be done at home to help the care. FOUND ONE!
I have occasional upper and mid-back discomfort, which he always sets straight. But my real issue right now is an impingement in my left shoulder. He's helped me back to almost full range of motion, remembering to work on it even when I forget. As an ex-baseball player, he knows shoulder rehab well.

Legitimately from head to toe, he will listen to your needs and assess your body to make sure you leave feeling better than you came in.
I am now expecting my first child and know he is fully experienced in adjusting pregnant woman as he did so for his wife throughout all of their children. Best adjustment I've had in years at The Joint in Lafayette/Erie, CO location. Just opened a few weeks ago. This is a 10/10 clinic that needs to more exposure, as it is a brand new location. I was so incredibly grateful to Dr. Matt and his dedication to his practice and to each individual patient. Unlike other chiropractors I have been to in the past, he did not rush me out, nor did he just go through the motions. His methods and technique were more effective for me than any clinic I've been to in the last 5 years - and that is saying a lot. Having been to a dozen or so different "Joint" locations, I had been getting used to the same ol' standard adjustment. Dr. Matt implemented extra stretching and adjustment techniques that I had never encountered before and they did wonders. He was able to target very specific points of pain and inflammation and I left in a different state than I had entered. He is also super friendly, comforting, and will go above and beyond. Mickie, the receptionist, is also fantastic and makes everything run efficiently. I wish Dr. Matt and this practice so much success because it definitely deserves it!

Yesterday I drove two hours round-trip for an adjustment by Dr. Matt, who until recently was my chiropractor here in Fort Collins before becoming owner of The Joint in Lafayette. He had quite a following here; as one example, my yoga-in-the-park teacher once brought up his name and gushed, “Dr. Matt got me through my pregnancy.” I hate it that he left, because over my forty-some years of getting regular chiropractic adjustments in three states, he is far and away the best chiropractor I’ve ever had. To begin with, his skill set is remarkable: he’s super-smart, highly observant and intuitive, physically dexterous, and an excellent problem-solver. When I injured my knee last spring, the local physician I rushed to assured me, after a quick physical exam, that the cartilage was fine—whereas Dr. Matt, after examining my knee and asking me a range of questions, thought the problem was a partially torn meniscus. His turned out to be the correct diagnosis, and my meniscus healed ahead of schedule thanks to his adjustments and his recommendations of specific ice treatments and leg-strengthening exercises. Beyond his skills, Dr. Matt stands out as a warm and caring (and funny) guy who gets to know you as a person and never forgets anything you tell him about your life. I like his replacement here, and I don’t think I can pull off a weekly two-hour drive, but yesterday won’t be the last time I make the pilgrimage to Lafayette. I envy Lafayette locals and their good luck in living near an amazing chiropractor.

There's a Joint Chiropractic location less than 5 minutes from me, and yet I make the 20 minute drive to this location because Dr. Matt is incredible! He's always been willing to take the time and go out of his way to make sure I'm back to feeling good before I leave. He was my main chiropractor in Fort Collins when I lived there, and I'm so glad he opened an office at this location! Seriously, he's the best.

I came in so much pain, I could barely move my head and it was just going poorly all around. Even though I am from out of town Dr. Matt gave my injury above and beyond the amount of time I would expect. He and his staff were also so kind. By the next day I was able to turn my head and feeling so much better. I am so thankful. The level of care and attention was incredible.

Dr. Matt is the total package when it comes to chiropractors. He is outstanding at adjusting, truly cares about my needs, has a great sense of humor, and took his time to really try to get to know me. Even though this is a walk-in clinic, it didn't feel like an assembly line like other places I've been. He was great with my kids (which makes sense since he has an army of his own lol) and made all of us feel right at home. He's earned my business! Keep up the good work doc!

I've been to many different "The Joint" locations and this is by far the best one. There's a part of me that doesn't want to share this because I enjoy it not being busy, but I also want it to remain there and they just opened and need the business. The doctor is very attentive and helpful. I'm so glad I live close to one now!
