Choices You Make in the Morning May Affect Health
By Tom Herrin
A lot of people want to have the right to make their own choices. It should be a part of the right of being a citizen in a free country. Even though they may have that option, many fail to actually act on those rights they possess. Sometimes it is more a matter of habit instilled over time than really making a decision. When it comes to meals, many people fall into regular patterns and simply assume whatever happens is fine. Being raised on a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and biscuits may seem like a part of life for some, but there may be better options. While all meals play major roles in health, breakfast may stand alone as the one meal that serves as a foundation for the total health of a person.
It May Energize the Body
Choosing the right breakfast for each individual is not all that difficult, but it should require careful planning. Determining what kind of start people need is important. When they consume good, high quality foods packed with energy, they may perform much better without running out of gas. Eating good fruits or drinking good juices at breakfast may be far better than some sugary food or drink they can purchase anywhere. Those fruits likely contain more vitamins and other nutrients that can help them perform.
It May Boost Immunity
Taking in foods that are high in antioxidants can help fight a number of diseases. Citrus fruits and juices have strong indications that they are quite effective. There are several others that may be included with the morning meals that can be powerful to stay healthy and fight disease. A little fine-tuning can identify the breakfast that can do the most for any individual.
It May Help Manage Cholesterol
There is plenty of reason for any of us to be concerned about our cholesterol. When it is bad, it can have a devastating effect on our heart and circulatory system. Eating something with plenty of fiber, especially soluble fiber, can help to lower bad cholesterol, or LDL. I like to eat oats because I know that they have a high success rate for doing this. There are a few others as well. Find the right morning meal for you, and make a difference. There is a lot at stake.
