But even though you won’t be able to find self-determination and willpower on the internet, you will be able to find tips and tricks to help you get moving in the right direction. What kind? Drink More Water Than You Want
Many times, the advice we hear about water is to simply drink more. And this can be good advice. But we're so dehydrated as a society, a better piece of advice might be to drink water until you're full. And then drink more. This doesn't mean that you should gorge yourself. It means that we are so chronically deprived of water that we don't even understand how much we really need. Drink some water … and later in the day, drink more. Keep this habit going until you're finally drinking eight glasses per day.
Reduce Stress Every Night
As a society, we are way too busy and stressed. And because we’re so stressed so often, we don’t even recognize it anymore. If you want to be healthier, reduce your stress every night before bed. Take a hot shower, unwind with a book, play a game with your kids. Do whatever you need to do to relieve some stress, improve your sleep, and keep your health moving in the right direction.
Walk
Walking is so good for the body, mind, and soul. If you want to be healthier, you need to walk more. Walk to work if you’re close. Walk to the local restaurant. Walk to your friend’s house. If it’s in walking distance, use your legs! This helps you get more exercise, burns more calories, and also improves your mental health as your body creates endorphins and adrenaline.
