Dr. Holly Doherty, DC, is proud to serve patients at The Joint Chiropractic in East Peoria, Illinois. Born and raised in Peoria, Dr. Holly has always had a strong connection to her community. Her journey into chiropractic began at a young age when she experienced severe migraine headaches. After starting routine chiropractic care, her migraines disappeared for more than three years. That life-changing experience inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others experience the same natural relief and renewed health.
Dr. Holly earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She also holds a Licensed Massage Therapy degree from Illinois Central College and a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, where she studied Massage Therapy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Acupuncture. This broad foundation gives her a holistic approach to patient care. Over the years, she has treated patients of all ages—from newborns to centenarians—proving that chiropractic care can benefit every stage of life.
Her favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping people get well and stay healthy naturally, without relying on medication. She is passionate about identifying the root cause of discomfort and empowering the body to heal itself.
Life in the Community
Dr. Holly is thrilled to serve the same community she grew up in. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Liam, an IT professional at Illinois State University and avid gamer, are proud parents to their energetic 3-year-old son, Nolan, who loves dinosaurs and zoo animals. The family also shares their home with Bailey, their sweet 11-year-old dachshund who, despite being blind and deaf, still loves her cuddle time.

Meet Dr. Thomas Fulcher, DC — Your East Peoria Chiropractor

Dr. Thomas B. Fulcher, DC, CCST, FABS, known to patients as Dr. Tom, is a licensed chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in East Peoria, Illinois. He first joined The Joint in Glen Carbon in 2019 and began caring for patients in East Peoria in September 2024.
Dr. Tom earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 1980. He also holds a Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma from Life Chiropractic College and is a Fellow of the American Back Society. With more than 40 years of experience in cities across Illinois—including Quincy, Springfield, Decatur, Shiloh, Champaign, and Glen Carbon—Dr. Tom has helped thousands of patients regain and maintain their health through chiropractic care.
Originally from New York and raised in communities across Pennsylvania and Illinois, Dr. Tom has deep Midwest roots. He chose chiropractic after witnessing how it helped his father recover from a serious back injury, and he has dedicated his life to providing that same relief and healing to others.
Dr. Tom is passionate about using his background in the sciences to promote better health in his community. He believes chiropractic care not only restores function but also strengthens the bonds between people, and he values the chance to get to know each patient personally.
Life in the Community
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Tom singing with his karaoke group in Springfield or performing during Elvis Week at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoys music that brings people together—especially songs by Elvis Presley and Barry Manilow. Patients love hearing about his performances and his unique connection to the music community.
