Real food is not processed or packaged. It is not filled with chemicals or preservatives that have names no one can pronounce. People who do not have access to fancy grocery stores or online retailers can still recognize real food. It is the type of food that your grandparents could recognize. Real food only has one ingredient: itself.
For example, an apple is considered real food. On the other hand, a package of apple-flavored cookies from a grocery store is not real food. Instead, it is processed food that probably has a long list of ingredients and preservatives.
