Meet The Doctors
Dr. Charles Marshall graduated from North Carolina State University in 1996 with a BS in Chemistry. He worked in Pharmaceutical R&D on early and late stage drug product development. He is very active with sports, mtn biking, snowboarding, hiking, and weight training. It was the chiropractic care he received following two disc herniations in his low back that led him to return to school and study chiropractic to help others avoid surgery just as he had. Dr. Charles graduated from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018. He is trained in the following techniques: Full Spine, Gonstead, Thompson, SOT, TRT, and CBP. His passion is serving others and delivering chiropractic care to remove subluxations and restore proper nerve function to optimize health and healing for all. He has experience treating all walks of life including pregnant mothers, infants, youth, adults, and the elderly. His goal is for everyone to experience the benefits of chiropractic care and optimal health without drugs or surgery.
Dr. Chance Charlton arrived at The Joint Chiropractic ~ High Point clinic in November 2021 with more than 19 years of chiropractic experience. He received his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO., after having received a major in Spanish and minor in chemistry from the University of Utah. Prior to joining The Joint family, Dr. Charlton has worked in geographic locations that spanned a broad range of cultures and ways of living, from: Dillingham, Alaska; Mesa, Arizona; and Louisville, Kentucky. He has also worked at The Joint Chiropractic in our Greensboro, Durham & Winston-Salem locations. For fun, he enjoys hiking and camping, as well as reading.
Dr. Charlton and his wife Tara have one son, one daughter, and a dog, Jack. He is a big family man and says that marrying his best friend is the coolest thing he’s ever done! Chiropractic care has played a huge role in Tara’s life, “Through chiropractic care, my wife’s fibromyalgia was able to be controlled so she could function,” he says. It’s one thing to hear or read about a treatment, but it’s another to see its effects first hand and in your everyday life. It gives you a new level of appreciation for what chiropractic care can do for your health. “The best thing about being a chiropractor, to me, is seeing the smiling face of the people I help” Dr. Charlton says. “It’s amazing to be able to help someone in pain and completely turn their day around with their first adjustment!”
