Meet The Doctors
Dr. Ronald Ritchie began work with The Joint Chiropractic in September 2023 after being in independent practice for 40+ years. He and his family moved to the Dallas area in 1985 and has been here ever since. Dr. Ritchie's family grew up in and all still reside in the Dallas area.
Dr. Ritchie attended Long Beach City College and the University of Southern California, Long Beach, California focusing on Biology and Chemistry. He and his wife moved to Houston, Texas to attend Texas Chiropractic College. He graduated from TCC in 1981 and began practice in Austin, Texas.
"Chiropractic is the unique practice of providing health care with a touch of the hands, "Chiro-practic," to treat with the hand." This unique form of healthcare provides "the privilege to care for and improve the health of wonderful people interested in wellness and alternative healthcare."
Dr. Ritchie states, "I knew I would be in healthcare. I always had a passion for helping people and desire to know how the body works. As a child my mother took me to chiropractors for all kinds of health reasons, from "cricks" in the neck, to bronchitis. I found it fascinating how treating the spine would alleviate the common cold and all other types of health issues in addition to back and neck pain. In college, I came to a crossroads. Political and social events pointed me to chiropractic instead of allopathic medicine. Once I arrived at that conclusion, chiropractic was the only course for my life. And it's been that way ever since 1975." His dedication to chiropractic and improving the health of thousands is clear.
