It would be nice to be a kid again an not have to worry about what goes in your mouth. Most kids can eat anything they desire without worrying about a bad case of heartburn or packing on the pounds. Other times, stress is unavoidable, but you still need to learn how to handle it better. Instead of running to the fridge, why not lie down for a few minutes or take a hot shower, allowing yourself to breathe deeply for a few minutes.

Lack of sleep can cause a lot of health problems, including weight gain and irritability. However, getting enough sleep with a kid that is full of energy seems like an insurmountable challenge. Your whole family would be healthier and happier if you take the time to establish healthy sleep habits, so make this a priority. It may mean cutting out television after dinner or going to bed the same time your kid does. Find the solution that works best for your family.
