Meet The Doctors
Dr. Mark Den Hartog, D.C, was born and raised in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University, graduating in 1988 with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Following graduation, Dr. Mark attended Northwestern Health Sciences University to study Chiropractic, and graduated in 1992. Dr. Mark began working as a chiropractor in Coldwater, Michigan, and has worked in too many cities to count!
Dr. Mark began working with The Joint Chiropractic in June 2022 and believes that the best part of working as a chiropractor is getting to see patient’s faces when they feel better.
Outside of work, Dr. Mark enjoys playing guitar and hanging out with his family. Dr. Mark was in a band for 10 years throughout college. His band played original alternative rock music!
Dr. Marissa Tyler was raised in Battle Ground, Washington before attending Eastern Washington University where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She went on to graduate from Life University in 2022, earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.
Since becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Marissa worked in Casper, WY, and Battle Ground, WA before joining our Joint Chiropractic team in January 2024. Dr. Marissa says that the best part of being a chiropractor is using her hands to facilitate healing in others.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys hanging out with her rescue dogs, hiking, and art. The coolest thing she has ever done was road-tripping across the country and back with her fiancé and two dogs. Her favorite part of this trip was being able to see so much in just a few weeks with the ones she loves.
