  • Stretch every day - As you age, your muscles become tighter and less flexible, increasing your chances of injury, so it’s important to incorporate stretching into your routine as much as possible. Focus on stretching your hamstrings, quadriceps, calves, hips, and back to avoid many of the common injuries that chiropractors treat on a daily basis. It only takes a few minutes each day, but it will give you a lifetime of benefits.
  • Don’t ignore pain - Another important lifestyle tip is to seek help and get quick treatment if you’ve suffered an injury or are experiencing pain. What may seem like a minor annoyance now can lead to years of pain and discomfort in the future. In addition to that, avoidance can potentially cause improper muscle and joint function, reduced mobility, and unnecessary use of pain medications. So don’t ignore the messages that your body is trying to send you, and seek help as soon as possible.
