Though the food item is not often touted as being healthy for the teeth, there are some benefits of chewing it that make it worthwhile in moderation. No one should chew gum every single day, but doing so on occasion can provide some benefits to those who enjoy it. With plenty of sugar-free options on the shelves, there’s always a kind that's safe to chew.
