Meet The Doctors

Dr. Katie Stewart, D.C. is a Clinic Director, Chiropractor at East Mesa

Originally from the small town of Ramona and raised in San Diego, California, Dr. Katie Stewart has always been passionate about health and healing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in 2012. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California in 2016.

Dr. Stewart’s journey into chiropractic began in high school after a life-changing car accident. Rear-ended at high speed, she suffered severe headaches and neck pain that traditional medical care failed to resolve. It was a local chiropractor who helped her heal and regain function—an experience that sparked her desire to help others through chiropractic care.

She began her career practicing in Los Gatos and at The Joint Chiropractic in Point Loma, CA. In 2019, she joined The Joint Chiropractic team in Arizona, where she continues to serve patients of all ages. Dr. Stewart takes pride in providing customized care for conditions ranging from sciatic pain and arthritis to jaw, hip, and neck discomfort. She is especially passionate about supporting expecting mothers through their pregnancy journey.

Dr. Stewart believes in chiropractic’s ability to accelerate healing and improve quality of life. Her goal is to empower patients to feel and function at their best every day.

Outside the office, Dr. Stewart enjoys a full life with her husband, John, and their three children. Together, they love trying new restaurants, exploring new places, and sharing family time over board games and billiards. A few of her favorite hobbies include swimming, painting, bowling, and traveling. A self-proclaimed cheese lover, she admits she can’t live without shredded cheese in her fridge—“it tastes good on everything!”

One of her most memorable experiences was a six-week trip across Europe, where she explored the rich history and breathtaking architecture of England, Italy, Austria, and Germany, indulging in art, cathedrals, and, of course, plenty of gelato.

Dr. Thahn Pham, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Thahn Pham, D.C., was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when he was a young boy. He grew up in southern California. He joined The Joint Chiropractic family in September 2020.

He attended California State University – Long Beach and earned a Bachelor Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He has worked in clinics since 1998.

He decided to become a Chiropractor because Chiropractic care has helped improve his health for many years. His physical skills are maintained with routine Chiropractic care. His interests include gardening and home improvement.

He enjoys caring for patients and assisting in their desire to achieve optimal wellness and health. He is excited to be working for The Joint Chiropractic offering affordable and convenient chiropractic care.

Dr. Ayusa Lisk, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Lisk was born and raised in Japan. She first learned about chiropractic when she moved to the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii, where her aunt and uncle practice chiropractic. She had chronic knee pain which had bothered her for years, caused by prior work. She had sought many healthcare professionals, but nobody could figure out how to help her. Dr. Lisk's uncle performed a chiropractic adjustment, and her pain was gone immediately after the adjustment. She thought it was a miracle, and at that moment, she had decided to become a chiropractor. She moved to the US, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Lisk has learned to serve the specific needs of patients from infants to elderly including pregnant women. Her passion for chiropractic has never stopped but only continues growing through serving patients. She truly enjoys helping her patients improve their total wellness and being able to do what they enjoy through chiropractic.

When Dr. Lisk isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family. You may find them out hiking, traveling, or trying out new local restaurants.

Dr. Cady Logan, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Cady Logan is a proud Arizona native whose journey into chiropractic care began when she was just two weeks old. As a colicky newborn, it was chiropractic care that first brought her relief—and from that moment on, regular adjustments became a part of her life. Growing up, chiropractic helped her navigate everything from sports injuries in high school to headaches during college. Watching her mother struggle with chronic migraines that traditional medicine couldn’t resolve—and seeing the profound impact chiropractors and naturopathic doctors had on her—cemented Dr. Logan’s desire to pursue a career in natural, holistic healthcare.

Fascinated by the human body from a young age, Dr. Logan found chiropractic to be the perfect path. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2015. While at Palmer, she participated in a clinic abroad program in Hyderabad, India, where she had the opportunity to care for underserved communities—an experience she cherishes to this day.

Dr. Logan is passionate about helping her patients regain the ability to enjoy life pain-free. Whether it's a grandparent dealing with sciatica, a student battling migraines, or a young athlete recovering from an injury, she brings a compassionate, personalized approach to every case. She treats a wide range of conditions including lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, and more—and she especially enjoys educating the Phoenix community about the benefits of consistent chiropractic care and spinal wellness.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Logan enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks, brushing up on her Spanish, and cheering on her favorite football team—the Green Bay Packers (though she still has a soft spot for the Arizona Cardinals). She shares her home with four dogs and a cat and has fostered over 20 senior dogs. Her greatest joy these days is spending time with her infant son and exploring fun events and restaurants with her family. A passionate traveler, she has visited three continents so far and looks forward to exploring more in the future.

Dr. Logan is honored to serve her community with care, empathy, and dedication.

Dr. Alicia DeWilde, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Alicia DeWilde was born and raised in the Chicago Suburbs, Illinois. After graduating from Michigan State University in 2018 and Life University - Marietta in 2022, she moved to Mesa in 2023 with her husband, Dr. Brian DeWilde. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, working out, hanging out with family and her Boston Terrier, Lemon.

Dr. Alicia always knew that she wanted to work with people. She enjoys helping others become the best version of themselves. She says, “I was on track to attend med school until my junior year of college when all my friends started applying to schools. I didn’t feel that traditional medicine was going to satisfy my love for personal connection and health optimization. After visiting chiropractic schools, I learned that there were a lot more people out there with similar passions for helping others without drugs or surgery. I applied to chiropractic school immediately after visiting Life University in Marietta, Georgia.”

According to Dr. Alicia, the coolest thing she’s ever done is going sky diving by herself on a random Wednesday when she was 22! She also speaks Spanish. If she could have a dinner party, she would invite Kobe Bryant, Matthew McConaughey, Shane Gillis, and Shaquille O’Neal. She says, “I think this would be a dinner of insight, wisdom and laughs.”

What Dr. Alicia enjoys most about being a chiropractor is “Connecting with patients, building relationships, and watching their whole lives and attitudes get better once they’re feeling and functioning at their best!” Dr. Alicia’s personal motto is “You control your own destiny.”

Dr. Brian DeWilde, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Brian DeWilde was born and raised in Holland, Michigan. After graduating with honors from Michigan State University in 2017 and Life University - Marietta in 2021, he moved to Mesa in 2023. When Dr. Brian is not working, you can find him on the golf course, hiking with his dog, working out at the gym, or reading a good book. His personal motto would be “Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses.” by Kobe Bryant.

Dr. Brian knew he wanted to be a chiropractor from the time he was 14 years old after a soccer injury put him in a thigh-high cast and a wheelchair for several months. Once he was finally able to have his cast removed, he went through months of physical therapy with very little function or range of motion in his right leg. His doctors told him he would never run or play sports again, but Dr. Brian was determined to prove them wrong. When a family friend suggested he try chiropractic, he figured he had nothing to lose. After just 2 adjustments, Dr. Brian was able to put weight on his leg and walk out of the office without his crutches.

From that moment forward, Dr. Brian knew he wanted to provide hope to people just as his chiropractor did for him. Dr. Brian is married to Dr. Alicia DeWilde. Together, they have a cat named Peach and a dog named Lemon. According to Dr.

Brian, the coolest thing he’s ever done is Hiked Machu Picchu in Peru to see the "Lost city of the Incas". This was preceded by a chiropractic mission trip where I and 11 other chiropractic students provided free chiropractic care to an impoverished community in the Peruvian city of Arequepa.”

In his opinion, the best thing about being a chiropractor is “Getting to know people from all walks of life and helping them reach their health goals through conservative movement-based care and holistic recommendations.”
