Meet The Doctors

Dr. Katie Stewart, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Katie Stewart originates from a small town in Ramona, California but was raised in San Diego, California. Dr. Stewart received her bachelor in kinesiology (the study of the mechanics of body movements) from San Diego State University in 2012 and has an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. She then proceeded to graduate with her doctorate from Palmer Chiropractic West in San Jose, California in 2016.

After graduation, Dr. Stewart’s first job was in Los Gatos and The Joint Chiropractic in Point Loma, California. In April of 2019, she joined The Joint Chiropractic team here in Arizona. Dr. Stewart loves to work with patients of all ages and her favorite thing about the chiropractic field is seeing the result of patients feeling better and healing quicker than they ever have in the past.

Since her graduation, Dr. Stewart has learned to tailor her care towards the specific needs of her patients. Whether this is sciatic pain, arthritis, jaw, hip or neck pain, Dr. Stewart strives to help her patients optimize wellness and happiness. Dr. Stewart finds her passion in treating expecting mothers.

Dr. Stewart is happily married to her husband John and has one daughter named Keira. The one item in Dr. Stewart’s fridge that she cannot live without is shredded cheese, she says it taste good on everything! When asked what the coolest thing Dr. Stewart has ever done and why, she says “visiting England, London, Italy, Austria and Germany for six weeks. It was cool because we saw so many unbelievable cathedrals and history. It is amazing how they renovate art and buildings to make them look so new but are thousands of years old. We saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Venice Beach, learned about glass blowing for jewelry. All I ate for about a week was gelato”.

Dr. Thahn Pham, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Thahn Pham, D.C., was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when he was a young boy. He grew up in southern California. He joined The Joint Chiropractic family in September 2020.

He attended California State University – Long Beach and earned a Bachelor Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He has worked in clinics since 1998.

He enjoys caring for patients and assisting in their desire to achieve optimal wellness and health. He is excited to be working for The Joint Chiropractic offering affordable and convenient chiropractic care.

Dr. Jaclyn Weber, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Jaclyn Weber was born in Oregon and raised in Arizona. Much like her sister (Dr. Emily Weber), she became interested in Chiropractic as a child. She benefited from years of wellness care growing up, and therefore, when it came time to choose a career path, the answer was simple: Chiropractic!

Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Jaclyn has learned to serve a range of patients from infants to grandparents with a variety of ailments such as sciatica, neck pain, upper and lower back pain, migraines, arthritis and much more.

Dr. Jaclyn says the best thing about being a Chiropractor is unleashing the innate power of the human body. Healing, function, and wellness are all optimized with Chiropractic care.

In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, sewing, thrifting, and watching movies.

Dr. Ayusa Lisk, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Lisk was born and raised in Japan. She first learned about chiropractic when she moved to the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii, where her aunt and uncle practice chiropractic. She had chronic knee pain which had bothered her for years, caused by prior work. She had sought many healthcare professionals, but nobody could figure out how to help her. Dr. Lisk's uncle performed a chiropractic adjustment, and her pain was gone immediately after the adjustment. She thought it was a miracle, and at that moment, she had decided to become a chiropractor. She moved to the US, and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

Upon receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Lisk has learned to serve the specific needs of patients from infants to elderly including pregnant women. Her passion for chiropractic has never stopped but only continues growing through serving patients. She truly enjoys helping her patients improve their total wellness and being able to do what they enjoy through chiropractic.

When Dr. Lisk isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family. You may find them out hiking, traveling, or trying out new local restaurants.

Dr. Cady Logan, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

For Dr. Cady Logan, D.C., becoming a chiropractor was natural and best-suited for her. She is an Arizona native and has been going to a chiropractor since she was only 2 weeks old. As a baby, Dr. Logan had colic and would cry day-in and day-out. That’s when her mother took her to her first chiropractic adjustment and she has been getting regular adjustments ever since.

Dr. Logan went on to graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2015. During her time at Palmer, Dr. Logan had the opportunity to take part in a clinic abroad program where she provided chiropractic care to the people of Hyderabad, India. Dr. Cady loved her experience abroad and helping those who were in need of relief.

Dr. Logan takes great care of her patients. She loves when her patients tell her they now have the ability to do something they haven’t been able to do prior to their adjustment because of their pain. Over the course of her professional journey, Dr. Logan has learned to treat a variety of patients ranging from infants, athletes, to grandparents with a range of cases such as sciatica pain, neck pain, lower back pain and migraines. Dr. Logan finds her passion in continuing to educate the Phoenix community of the benefits of chiropractic care and the wellness that comes with a routinely adjusted spine.

When she is not working at The Joint Chiropractic in Phoenix, AZ, Dr. Logan can be found reading books, learning Spanish, or watching her favorite football team, The Green Bay Packers.

Dr. Rick Shaikewitz, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Shaikewitz was born in St. Louis, Mo where he attended the University of Missouri earning a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing.

Out of college he was an insurance agent & broker and later, a 2nd Vice President of a furniture store he helped run.

In 1991 he recieved his Doctor of Chiropractic and Physical Medicine Modalities and Therapeutic Procedures degree from Logan College of Chiropractic and started his own practice in January of 1992 here in Chandler, AZ.

Later in 1995 attained additional credentialing as Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).

His Chiropractic techniques include, Diversified, Drop Table and Activator. He also provides patient education on the prevention (including proper bio-mechanics) and the care of injuries.

During high school he lettered in football, wrestling and track and was the captain of the wrestling team.                

               

In high school, college and here in Phoenix he participated and played in a number of racquetball groups & leagues and placed in a number of tournaments.

While in college he participated in many of the intermural sports and in the early 1990's, founded and played on 2 co-ed Field Hockey teams here in Phoenix (The Arizona State Field Hockey Club and the Phoenix Scorpions).

He not only treated those field hockey players as needed, but also a relief pitcher for professional baseball team and a member of a world famous band.

He also worked with the Arizona Football Cardinal Video crew taking photo faxes of each play to the players and coaches on the field at the home games for the last 12 years before they left Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe and moved to Glendale.

He had his national acting debut (or lack their of) being featured on an episode of the TV show COPS when it was on TV.

It shows him being extricated from his car with the “Jaws of Life” after being hit "head on" by another driver who was impaired by alcohol and Methamphetamine.

A year after the incident to prove he was rehabilitating correctly, he participated in the Senior Olympics in track and racquetball.

Dr. Al Lundeen, D.C. is a Chiropractor at East Mesa

Dr. Lundeen was born and raised in Rosemount, Minnesota. After attending the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!), he graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, TX. Dr. Lundeen has over 20 years of chiropractic experience and has accumulated over 100,000 patient treatments.

Over the past decade, Dr. Lundeen has completed an IronMan race (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run), won his age group in multiple North American 5k races and qualified for The Obstacle Course Race World Championships (3x).

Dr. Lundeen attributes his ability to win multiple events on a combination of training hard, a consistent sleep protocol, proper nutrition, positive mindset and weekly adjustments.

Dr. Lundeen has recently shifted his primary athletic focus to being a terrible golfer.
