Meet The Doctors
Dr. Kenny Kwong (Dr. K) is a Bay Area native, growing up in the San Mateo region and graduated in 2018 from UC Merced with a Cognitive Science degree before graduating from Life Chiropractic College West in the spring of 2022.
He first started with The Joint Chiropractic down in the Los Angeles region serving the San Fernando Valley. While he enjoyed his time down in southern California he eventually felt the call to come back home to the Bay Area.
Dr. K finds the best moments of patient care to be when patients report that they feel relief from a longstanding condition or when they feel that their quality of life has improved.
A usually mellow person, Dr. K enjoys listening to lo-fi music, cooking/eating good food, and spending time with his two cats, Tortie and Coco who he brought back with him from Los Angeles.
His goals for patients are for them to leave feeling listened to and that they receive the help appropriate for their situation, he looks forward to serving the San Leandro community and improving the quality of his patient's lives.
I was born and raised in Castro Valley. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior before graduating as valedictorian of my class from Life Chiropractic college west. I like to play volleyball, hike, and explore new restaurants. I love spicy food. I also volunteer as a youth group leader at 3 crosses church in Castro Calley.
I was looking for a more holistic approach to health care rather than just medication and surgery. I was interested in chiropractic care before and I looked into more information about it and here I am. I love being able to help patients resolve their pain and issues with simple adjustments to their spine, leaving them speechless, smiling, and in shock. Being able to make a difference in patient's lives and helping others is my calling.
