Creativity helps us when we are feeling periods of depression or when our stress levels are on the rise. It forms a release. There's nothing more gratifying than taking pride in something we've created, especially when it is admired by others.
Pushing Through the Clouds
At any given moment of our lives, we may have days that are clouded with fear, worry, anxiety, frustration, disappointment and regret. Creativity can give us a force to break through those cloudy days and give us a spark of accomplishment that may break us out of what could be bringing us down. So instead of diving into a food frenzy to try and eliminate those stresses, try grabbing a paint brush, paints and a blank canvas and let your mind create away.

The work week has been tough on you and with the weekend coming up, you have no plans other than to sit at home and literally stare at the four walls. Expression brings happiness and calmness.

Whatever it is, creativity can be a comfort during times of pain, grief or sorrow. It allows us to bring out our feelings and gently heals our soul in the process, helping us recover more quickly and proceed forward with our lives.

Have you ever created something that gives you the satisfaction of accomplishment? It's a great feeling, isn't it. No matter if you finished writing a book, painted or sculptured a piece of art or played out that piece of music you wrote, the work you're created, spent hours on, will give you empower you with the confidence that anything can be achieved in life.
