Dr. Parlier received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University.
Introduced to chiropractic over 20 years ago, Dr. Parlier knows the benefits of chiropractic care first hand. He spent his youth riding horses and working on a farm. Along with many falls, as well as the inherent stresses on his body that went with riding, his back and knees were constantly in pain. At the age of 25, he went to work for an equine chiropractor in Maryland. One day, that Chiropractor noticed Dr. John limping and regularly complaining about his back pain. She adjusted him several times over a week at the barn, and his pains started to go away. After that, he continued with regular care at her office.
Dr. Parlier is known and respected for the thorough and comprehensive examination and diagnosis that he provides to each patient.
In his spare time, Dr Parlier enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and his 4 children and their weiner dog, Titus.
Dr. Wesley Lloyd Campbell II joined the family of healthcare providers for The Joint Chiropractic in 2019. A graduate of University of Virginia with a degree in anthropology, he graduated cum laude from Life University, where he earned his doctorate of chiropractic and his masters in sports chiropractic.
“The thing I like most about being in the chiropractic field is seeing people walk away from an adjustment feeling better and being able to trust their bodies more than when they walked in,” he says. “I also like being able to educate patients about an avenue to achieve optimal health that is often overlooked and misunderstood.” Dr. Campbell saw first-hand the impact of chiropractic and it led him down the path to providing personal healthcare naturally.
“A chiropractor helped my mother recover from a stroke to restore the function in her right arm and leg,” he says. “I was so intrigued at how this could work that I shadowed the chiropractor and was able to see how he could regularly help people gain their function and lives back, and I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
A product of Queens, N.Y., in his spare time Dr. Campbell enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, as well as playing basketball.
“There is so much opportunity in Covington because chiropractic is still pretty scarce,” he says. “There are so many people to help reach their health goals and educate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Campbell says the one thing that he always keeps stocked in his refrigerator is a jar pickles. “It’s the perfect snack,” he says.
If he could bring together any four people from history for the dinner party of his dreams, Dr. Campbell would include a fascinating group: Jesus Christ, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., comedian Dave Chapelle, and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. “The four of them together would be a great intellectual and entertaining conversation,” he says.
As for Dr. Campbell’s most interesting experience, “The coolest thing I’ve ever done was climbing Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica,” he says. “It was the coolest because of the environment and wasn’t like anything I’ve ever done before.”
Dr. Ryan Paramo, DC was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr. Paramo then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was an active member in chiropractic neurology and sports rehabilitation. Dr. Paramo practiced in Denver, Colorado specializing in auto accident and personal injury recovery. He mainly treated whiplash, low back pain and migraines with manual manipulations, cold laser, all-natural supplements and acupuncture.
Dr. Paramo believes that routine chiropractic care allows anyone regardless of limitations to achieve their optimum health goals and live their best life by having a proper functioning nervous system. Dr. Paramo joined The Joint team in Atlanta December 2018 to accomplish these goals with you.
Dr. Paramo enjoys lifting weights and playing basketball at LA fitness. He likes to talk sports and complain about his Detroit teams. Dr. Paramo and his fiancé Claire enjoy exploring Atlanta and bike riding around the city. He loves cooking, reading and playing with his two dogs Jango and Mowgli. Dr. Paramo is a huge fan of coffee and must have one every morning. Dr. Paramo being a huge fan of sports would be honored to be in the presence of Kobe Bryant, Barry Sanders, John Beilein and the legendary Dan Patrick for an ultimate dinner party. The most rewarding thing he has done is travel to El Salvador and provide chiropractic care to an underprivileged community that do not have access to traditional medicine or any alternative form of health care.
Dr. Paramo believes in chiropractic care because it helped him recover from a gruesome hit in high school that almost ended his high school and college lacrosse career. With the aid of chiropractic, he was able to avoid long term chronic issues and it inspired him to pursue down the career path that helped him the most over what traditional medicine could not offer.
Dr. Donald Pritt joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2015 and has been at the Midtown clinic location since 2019. A graduate of Excelsior College with a bachelor’s degree in biology, he received his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University.
Dr. Donnie, as he prefers to be called, really appreciates the opportunity he has to impact his community. “The thing I like best about being in the chiropractic field is that we’re looking for the cause of the problem, not the side effect,” he says. “The other thing I like is working with other doctors to have the best effect on the patient.”
Before landing in Atlanta, Dr. Donnie worked in Virginia, New York, and New Jersey. A product of West Virginia who spends time with his schnauzer Lois, Dr. Donnie enjoys spending his spare time hiking, working out in the gym, and studying nutrition.
He knew that providing chiropractic care was his calling when he took a look at his family. “I saw my grandparents taking 21 different types of medication,” Dr. Donnie says. “I knew there must be a better way to deal with ailments.”

Dr. Donnie says the one thing he always keeps stocked in his refrigerator is Seaside Cheddar: “I can’t live without putting it on my salad.”
If he could bring together any people from history to comprise his dream dinner party, Dr. Donnie would send invitations to actors Marlon Brando,Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Williams, and physicist Albert Einstein. “All are different characters and the conversation about their lives and when they lived and the effect they had on society would be fascinating,” he says.
Those great actors might have questions of their own around the dinner table for Dr. Donnie. “Years ago, I was nominated ‘most eligible bachelor’ in Cosmopolitan Magazine,” he says. “I had a full-page ad write-up which was both embarrassing and cool at the same time.”
Dr. Kevin Stalls joined the family of local healthcare providers with The Joint Chiropractic in 2019 with his arrival at the East Atlanta clinic location. Dr. Stalls -- you can also call him Dr. Kevin -- graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts from Colorado State University before earning a doctorate of chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.
“The thing I like most about being in this field is that chiropractic really does help people feel better,” Dr. Stalls says. “I like the opportunity to be a calming and caring presence in someone else’s life.”
Dr. Stalls is no stranger to Atlanta professionally, but as a self-described military brat, he is also no stranger to Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Iceland.
When he’s not working or spending time with his family, which includes two daughters, a Chihuahua named Rothko, and a wife he describes as “the absolute best,” Dr. Stalls enjoys cooking.
Although he thinks his true calling is as an actor and writer, Dr. Stalls knew he had found his purpose at the very beginning of his career. “I was finally at clinic at TCC and I started treating someone with severe back pain, as well as PTSD, and I was able to help him so much in life,” he says. “I knew then that I was going to have a major positive impact on the lives of many people as a chiropractor.”
He could not be happier that he is now having a major positive impact on his current patients.
“I really like working at East Atlanta because I really feel like a part of the community,” Dr. Stalls says, “and I fit right in because it’s a very laid back group of people who live here.”

One of the things that’s always stocked in Dr. Stalls’ refrigerator is butter. “Butter,” he says, “makes everything better.”
If Dr. Stalls could bring together any four characters from history for the dinner party of his dreams, he would include two actors, a motivational speaker, and a talk show host. “Jack Lemmon is my all-time favorite actor, and Hugh Jackman is a versatile actor and all-around good guy,” he says. “Tony Robbins is unique, a powerful force of nature full of positive energy, and Ellen DeGeneres is a great light of love and acceptance -- and she’s hilarious.”
Dr. Stalls says one of the coolest things he has ever experienced was attending a performance at the the magic bar in Snowmass, Colo., before it closed down: “One of the best magicians in the world blew my mind right in front of me as I drank a Labatt Bleue in the beautiful snowy Rockies.”
Dr. Kiefer Sotomayor joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2020 when he joined the staff at the East Atlanta clinic location. Prior to graduating Cum Laude with his doctorate of chiropractic from Life University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Kiefer, as he prefers his patients call him, could not be happier doing what he’s doing. “The best thing about being a chiropractor is having the tools to help others improve their lifestyles,” he says. “It’s gratifying to have the opportunity to impact as many lives as possible.”
When he’s not working, the product of Dorado, Puerto Rico, enjoys martial arts, playing music, and making coffee while enjoying time with his Australian shepherd, Hazel.
“I knew that chiropractic was my calling when I was wrestling competitively in school,” he says. “I injured my ankle and the orthopedist wanted me to sit out the season. I decided to get a second opinion and went to a sports chiropractor, who put me back on track in less than a month and I was able to compete -- and win -- after chiropractic treatment.”
Dr. Kiefer previously worked in Marietta and is excited to work in the East Atlanta clinic. “I love the dynamic and the energies between the entire staff,” he says. “Everyone is energetic and welcoming. This creates the best work environment ever.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Kiefer says the one thing he always has on-hand while at home is a cold bottle of water. “The major component of our body is water,” he says, “but I can ensure that mine is almost fully water because I drink tons of it daily and I never get tired.”
He would love to have the opportunity to bring together any four characters from history for an unforgettable dinner party. “If I had the opportunity to choose four famous people, I would choose Leonardo da Vinci, Mozart, George Lucas, and Nikola Tesla,” he says. “I truly believe that this would be an amazing combination of art, culture, and knowledge in one place.”
Dr. Kiefer says the coolest thing he has ever done was become a musician: “Because of this, I get the opportunity to play music on different stages and travel to different countries to share one of my most precious passions -- music!”
