Impact Your Health With Small Diet Changes
By Donna Stark
I try. I really do. I exercise most days of the week, I get the recommended hours of sleep every night, and I stay away from energy drinks and sodas. If I had to, I would definitely classify myself as a somewhat healthy person. Somewhat, because my diet isn't perfect. You see, every time I try to eat healthily, along comes a reason to celebrate ... holidays, my birthday, my children's birthdays, the entire summer season, Fridays, and Taco Tuesdays. Honestly, it's nonstop, and these reasons ruin every attempt at a healthy lifestyle that I try to make.

- Eat your fruits and vegetables for fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
- Keep your coffee simple to reduce any extra sugar added to your diet
- Control your calorie-intake by asking for your salad dressing to come on the side
