Meet The Doctors
Dr. Jessica Ziker joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers in 2019 as part of the inaugural team at the Peachtree Corners clinic. She graduated from College of Charleston with a degree in physical education, and then got her doctorate from Life University.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is helping people express their natural health and wellness through chiropractic adjustments,” she says. “There’s tremendous joy and satisfaction helping people of all ages enjoy improved health and wellness.”
Dr. Ziker knew chiropractic was her calling after she had already spent time working in physical therapy. “That moment that it really hit home was when I was able to assist people who I was unable to assist while being a physical therapist assistant,” she says.
“I am so happy to be at The Joint where we are able to provide affordable, routine, and convenient chiropractic care to everyone in my community.”
She and husband Ritam have a Staffordshire terrier named Rocko and a great dane named Bobba. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Ziker says the one thing she always has in her refrigerator is sweet tea and creamer.
If she could have a tea party with anyone from history, she would choose Japanese actor Shintaro Katsu and manga stars Naruto, Luke Estheim, and Nico Meier. “I like them in the various shows and games I enjoy, and being able to meet them in person would be exciting and interesting,” she says.
The coolest experience in Dr. Ziker’s life, she says, was her marriage: “I was married in India and had an Indian wedding.”
Dr. Crystal Andrews-Robertson grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and previously lived in the Greater Atlanta Area. She first began her studies at Howard University in Washington, DC majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. She then attended Life University in Marietta, GA, and graduated Cum Laude in her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
She began working at The Joint Chiropractic in 2018. Dr. Crystal says, “the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is educating, adjusting, and empowering people in the community about an alternative approach to pain relief and achieving optimum health. Chiropractic helps to change the quality of people's lives one adjustment at a time.”
When she is not working, Dr. Crystal likes to spend her time relaxing with her spouse, Paul, her son, two stepdaughters, and two granddaughters. She enjoys walking, doing, yoga, listening to music/ positive motivational information, shopping, and learning more holistic information to maximize greater health.
Dr. Kourtney is originally from Coconut Creek, Florida. She recently joined The Joint in Peachtree Corners in June of 2023. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2016 from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. She then moved to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life University where she got my Doctor of Chiropractic in 2020. She then continued to expand her knowledge and did a master’s degree in Chiropractic sport management where she got to train with a sports chiropractor and work on all different types of athletes. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and weightlifting. she would say that the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is getting the chance to help people and having the opportunity to listening to all the stories from patients on how chiropractic has impacted their lives. “I always knew that I wanted to do a job that helped people and then being able to watch my uncle be a Chiropractor and get to help people just solidified that was what I wanted to do”. She has three dogs, Percy, Zeus, and Gus that keep her busy! The one thing in her fridge that she must have is water, “I am not a fan of warm water and I normally drink my water extra cold!” Four people, who would comprise her perfect dinner party, would be Julia Roberts, Whitney Houston, Hillary Clinton, and Pink. She said she would choose these four women because they are women that she looked up to growing up. The coolest thing she has ever done was getting the opportunity to swim with dolphins. Her and her family went on a cruise one year for vacation and did an excursion to get to hang out with them for a couple of hours, it was such an amazing experience!
