Dr. Scott was raised in Marietta, GA and says that the best thing about being a chiropractor is “Knowing that with each individual adjustment, the patient’s life is changed for the better.” In his free time, he enjoys reading, movies, and interacting with any sports whether it be playing, coaching, or watching! He has a beautiful daughter who is his pride and joy. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and currently is getting her masters degree in speech pathology at East Tennessee State University.

Dr. Scott knew that chiropractic was his calling when he was a student at UGA in Athens and he was involved in a severe motor vehicle accident. After experiencing neck pain and headaches following the trauma, he pursued chiropractic treatments and the post accident experience with chiropractic healthcare was, “So successful and amazing that I knew that was what I was called to do - to serve people as a doctor of chiropractic!”

When Dr. Scott was asked If he could bring together any four people from history for the dinner party of his dreams, he said that is would be Jesus Christ, John Wooden, Martin Luther King Jr., and Ronald Reagan.

    I've been a long time sufferer of low grade back pain. Some mornings good, some not so good. I've tried chiropractors in the past for one off treatments with mixed results. I'm now on the service plan at The Joint, four visits a month and I'm finding this is helping a lot. I'm not doing cartwheels yet, but it has definitely provided more flexibility and less discomfort, which will hopefully continue to trend up. Dr Breslow and the other staff members are all very good. You rarely have to wait, just walk in, and the price is right. This is a chiropractic practice that works and you can incorporate into your health and wellness routine to complement your strength and flexibility training.

    WARNING: Biggest mistake of my life was ever walking into this place. I was new to chiropractors and dealing with some upper back pain. However, on my 3rd visit on April 2nd, 2025 they worked on my neck for the first time. Less than 20 min later I became extremely dizzy, unbalanced and general brain fog. I had never experience any vertigo issue until this session in my life. Sadly, it's now nearly 3 months later and I'm still dealing with it. I have medical insurance luckily but still spent $5K+ out of pocket so far with medical bills trying to fix their damage to me. Still working through various tests with medical doctors. This place kept telling me it was due to my C1 being out of alignment. They don't do x-rays here but confidently kept saying that was the reason which may delayed my recovery or caused even more harm with additional neck adjustments. I've now had three different x-rays done by orthopedic doctors + MRI of my full spine, MRA + MRI of head and neck. No doctor reviewing my x-rays and MRIs have said my C1 is out of alignment. I trusted these people to help me but has caused so much harm to me. I'm praying every day that this is not permanent damage done. I have more months of doctor visits to come and started physical therapy at local hospital to try recover from their cervical adjustment.

Just when I develop a good patient relationship with one of the docs and start making progress the doc is gone. This seems to be a problem with the owner of this local franchise where they think seeing a different doctor each visit will bring in more patients. Sadly I believe this stupidity will run them off. If you like a random doc that knows nothing about you that you won’t be able to develop a good relationship with this is certainly the franchise for you. Sadly I have about had it with the chiropractor roulette wheel.

    This place is racist to black folk, I came in for an adjustment in my neck area, the receptionist made me fill out my info on the tablet as a first time patient. I was on a call while I was waiting on the doctor to see me, the receptionist looked at me with an attitude and asked me to turn off my phone or go outside, I was shocked and told her I wasn’t even being loud and there are other people with the doctor in the back office talking and laughing super loud that we could here them in the lobby, and moreover I told her she could talk to me a little polite as a patient, the doctor came out and said I should leave and that he will not take me without a legitimate reason. while I was leaving the office the receptionist ran up to me and said she’ll call 911 and they have camera, I was confused and lost to why she would even say that to me if I don’t pose any type of threat. At that point I called them out being racist because their action was unnecessary. The doctor called my phone after I left stating I shouldn’t come back and if I do they’ll call 911. Why would I even wanna come back to a place like that with lots of hostility towards me for no reason. This was a bad experience and in my opinion it was racist.

    I walked into the Joint about a week ago due to neck pain and needing an immediate appointment. I have had chiropractors before and have always loved my experience but have always gone to private practices. I expected this to be a one-time thing and to go to a "real" chiropractor place later.     same blanket adjustment, different dr every time. I was told they could help treat my shoulder, I bought two months. Only treated my shoulder once. Was told to come in twice a week, and they credits would would be added to my account to meet that schedule when I signed on. Im out after 5 visits, I guess 5 = 2 visits a week for a month....? One doctor hurt me so bad I left worse then when I came in. I have had chiropractic care in the past, this is not it. Each time I have come in, I have let them know about my shoulder issue, and yet only one time have they adjusted it. I asked to cancel my membership, in which case i was told I could not, I was told if I had a complaint i needed to talk to the owner, which I gladly would, if they would call me back. I reached out several times and was told they were on vacation. I tried again today and the number doesn't even work. Next step I guess is to call the bank, and have them block payment. Let them figure it out.

    Can’t say enough good things about this place! The space is inviting and always impeccably clean, the receptionist is welcoming, personable, and incredibly professional, and Dr. Kratz is an absolute pro! I have had a huge improvement in mobility and comfort since starting here roughly three months ago, and definitely plan to keep coming to this location due to the quality of services provided by the staff despite it being farther away than other locations from me!     I’ve been contemplating writing a review for a while now just for the fact that it might not be taken serious. But I went for my first visit and chose this place based off of their reviews. I was seen quickly but was left feeling very uncomfortable. From the start the chiropractor was making little jokes that were whatever. Then he told me to sit in the chair and cross my arms. As I sat in the chair he repeatedly pet the side of my head/shoulders repeatedly saying “good girl good girl” which at this point I was uncomfortable. You would never do that to a man. He then proceeded to adjust me which he then tells me to stand against the wall to crack my back. When I questioned this he then replied with “I’ve been doing this for over 50 years I know what I am doing” and cracks my back by pushing on my shoulders/chest which was a little uncomfortable. As I was checking out he comes up to the front desk and tells the lady working at the desk “you did a very good job taking those pictures. You were very beautiful, you looked very beautiful taking them” which at that point we kind of looked at each other and I left (he had her take a picture of my legs to show me how my feet were longer than the other on my phone). I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and will never go back again. I have spoken to multiple people about this situation and everyone agrees that my experience was not ok at all. I decided to write this review in case any young female was curious if this location was worth going to or not.

    "Their monthly subscription is a trap" - during signing up they won't mention you about cancelation policy, they will convince you like "one time visit is 40$ and if you visit 2 times that will cost you 80$, instead take the monthly subscription which will cost u only 79$", if your pain is gone with in 1 or 2 visit you can't cancel this subscription, you are forced pay at least for 2 months in that way you will end up paying 160$ where you might have ended up paying just 40$ for the second visit after first promotional visit of 29$, to get rid of this low integrity business I had to cancel my HSA card, think before you sign up for monthly subscription there is a hidden trap, sign it for only if you are sure you need their service for more than 4-5 visits...

    I stepped in the The Joint for the first time in Sunday because my father needed an Adjustment the receptionist kindly took our info, when the doctor took us to the back he pretty much try to rush us and within 2 questions he was pushing for us to buy a package of Adjustment, since we declined to buy the package because my father does not live in GA he told us that his existing clients that has arrived which was 20 min after we did and that he has to attend to them first. He was very unprofessional and rude as well did not care about the well being of my father he care more about patient buying subscriptions. False advertising because they never wanted us to take advantage of the $29 promo

    The Joint has been an alternative for me. The chiropractor I was going to stopped taking our insurance. The copay was $40. The same as a single visit here. The Joint has many good packages, if you want to pay up front and stop in weekly. I don't want that. I really miss all the therapies at my old place, alot. The Joint doesn't have any. I do feel slightly rushed also. Not sure if there is a time limit on each patient. So luckily I've been in chiropractic care for 28 years and know my body and this place works for me.

    I have been seeing a chiropractor since my, now grown, kids were babies. However, it was always hard to get an appoitment convenient for my work schedule because they were only open a few days a week and for limited hours. BUT, when I found The Joint Chiropractic, I decided to give it a try. It was a Saturday afternoon and I had been struggling with a headache for 3 days. I walked right in. Completed my paperwork and the receptionist walked me right back to the adjustment room. It 's very open and spacious, not behind doors. The Dr. reviewed my issues and we spoke about the pain I was having and he did his assessment. (I was happy to know they do a background on your health before they begin adjusting). Once the treatment began, I knew this guy knew exactly what he was doing. After the adjustment, I could feel the release of the pressure in my head immediately. I've been back twice since then and even joined the wellness program. This location is very convenient to my home, and the fact they are open 7 days a week gives me relief if I truly need an adjustment on the weekend or after hours. It's been a complete blessing for me to have found this place and I truly trust my health with this practice.

    Give this place a try! You won’t regret it. I have so many good things to say about The Joint Chiropractic in Sugar Hill. Where do I start? Their hours are great - it’s a walk in service so you don’t have to worry about making an appointment. Secret at the front desk recognizes you and checks you in before you even say anything and tells you to go on back. Dr. Trainer is kind and professional, he takes time to explain things to you and really listens to your concerns. Their office is clean and conveniently located. The service only takes a few minutes so you can be in and out and back to your day. Most of all my back pain is under control! I had been suffering from back pain for the past 5 years but much more recently. I was throwing my back out constantly and if you know how that feels you know the following days are awful. It was happening so much I knew something had to change. I couldn’t be the wife or mom I wanted to be. I threw my back out once again and went in to see Dr. Trainer that day. He adjusted just about every vertebrae! My muscles were started to seize up like they always do and I was like “man here we go again, my weekend is ruined”... that was on a Wednesday well I was pain free not only all weekend but into the next week! I couldn’t believe it. I’m really happy with their services. If you have back pain give this place a try. Also, they let me bring my kids which is awesome.

    This location is far better than any other I've visited, and will continue to come here regardless of convenience. ** Not all chiropractors (or doctors for that matter) are created equal** Dr. Jason Trainer is very thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive. He takes time to ask questions and is honest with you if he doesn't know something. I'm a fairly unique patient (firefighing and tourette's causing most of my chiropractic issues) and he went out of his way to research how to better understand and treat me. This is priceless to me! I have had such a difficult time finding medical professionals able to handle such an uncommon diagnosis/profession combo. The only other chiropractor I trust doesn't take the insurance I have now, so I tried out The Joint. I'm so happy I did and will continue with them as long as Dr. Trainer is here!

I sincerely recommend him for neck issues - there is no one better! UPDATE: Dr. Stephie Grenier is awesome.     I love the joint! Its so close to me and they have lots of locations everywhere! I never have had to drive more than 10 minutes to get an appointment. I was a bit of a skeptic at first about chiropractic therapy, but I had heard a friend talking about the joint, so I tried it out. My first adjustment was $29 and definitely worth it. I automatically signed up for a membership where I can go in once a week and get adjusted. You can also buy packages where you just buy ‘x’ many adjustments so you don't have to pay monthly. The staff here in sugar hill is amazing! I especially love the receptionist there. She is so sweet and greets me by name every time I come in. The doctor there is great as well! Overall I love this place and can definitely say that I will probably be paying for it forever.?

    I’ve had a great experience at The Joint in Sugar Hill. Dr. Acosta is very knowledgeable. His adjustments are painless and he’s helped me with my hip and wrist. They were both bothering me and it is subsiding. He’s been able to suggest some different exercises to help me feel my best. We have a super high deductible and I wasn’t going to the chiropractor. The membership is affordable and it has been an easy way for me to get back to health. I’m so glad a new location popped up in our hometown. I love the brand new, clean space and easy atmosphere.

    This place is the best. First of the receptionist was very helpful discuss all the options of plans that would be best for me and always the most affordable. Dr.Acosta has by far been the best chiropractor I’ve seen. He always takes his times and make sure he gets as much input from you as possible to ensure he can make the correct adjustments every time. Never cuts corners and always tells you the truth versus what he needs to tell you I’m order to make money. He is all about making sure you get healthy and strong within a reasonable amount of time.

    Wow what a great place, Dr. Acosta and the staff are wonderful. I had issues with my neck and shoulder for about 2 weeks ( Trying to do too much with the weights ). I couldn't lift anymore, so I decided to go to the joint. After the first visit I felt awesome, I had no pain. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also very affordable, especially if your used to seeing other chiropractors.

    Have had a few chiropractors in the past with not much relief. After visiting Dr Acosta I have been having less back pain. I come see him least 2 times a week ! Nothing but great adjustments and very professional! I have recommended 4 others to this location to see him and they go 1-2 times a week as well !!!

    The doctor here is really nice and attentive. My only complaint comes from comparing The Joint to my former chiropractor (a typical private practice dr). They always used a massage device on your back for a couple minutes after an adjustment, which feels really great when you've been dealing with back or neck pain. Getting a 3 minute adjustment and then leaving just feels lacking. But, I guess you get what you pay for.

    I usually do not give 5-star reviews, but Dr. Cooper is perfect. She really knows her stuff, and probably the first chiro I've ever met that went right at my concerns. Also, pricing is great, none of those "massive plan" packages they try to sell. Highly recommend!
