Meet The Doctors
Dr. Matt always wanted to work in healthcare. He started his career working as a phlebotomist while he was going to school to be a lab tech. While in school to become a lab tech he had his first chiropractic adjustment from Dr. James Husband in South Bend. Dr. Husband along with another chiropractor, Dr. Garry Fuller, who he would meet later in Brownsburg, IN, would be influential to his career choice of chiropractic.
Dr. Matt worked as a lab tech in hospitals, and doing pharmaceutical research in the greater Indianapolis are for 6 years, before going back to school to become a chiropractor. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he finished his bachelors of general science, and doctorate of chiropractic in February of 2021.
In his free time Dr. Matt enjoys spending time with his family in Plymouth, going fishing, hiking, kayaking, watching baseball (St. Louis Cardinals fan), traveling, cooking, going to the farmers markets, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Kayla graduated from SCU in 2020. She then moved to North Carolina where she owned her own practice for 4 years before joining our team here at The Joint Chiropractic in 2025. She has extra certifications in Activator Methods and Functional Medicine. She moved to Indiana to be closer to family. Hiking, reading, and watching football and basketball are among some of the hobbies she enjoys.
