Table tennis is a pretty fast game in that the ball actually moves at a pretty good speed. In a competitive game, there is a steady thump of the paddle hitting the ball. People have to shift and move with the play. This can improve balance as well as hand-eye coordination. Reflexes can be improved. There is also some strategy in the game.
