Cleaning burns massive calories. The scrubbing, the bending, the sweeping, the mopping. The more you clean, the more calories you’ll burn. So if you’re looking to burn some calories without working out, cleaning may be just the way to do it. As an added bonus, you’ll also have a house that sparkles and shines all of the time.

Eat Calorie Burning Food

While anything you eat will add to your caloric intake for the day, certain foods may help speed up your metabolism and maximize the calorie burn. Make sure that your cabinets and refrigerator are stocked with spicy items such as chili peppers, cayenne, and jalapenos. These spicy foods heat up the body, which in turn speeds up the metabolism, and burns more calories on a daily basis.

When you get home from the grocery store, you try to take everything inside in one go. Admit it, we all do this. In fact, we try to make as few trips as possible in every situation.
