There are going to be nights when you just can't sleep. Everyone goes through that at some point. If it becomes a common occurrence though, you really would benefit from a little help. A few bad habits we as a society have developed are sporadic bedtimes and wake-up times, not getting 6-7 hours of sleep per night, getting too much sleep, and using electronics before bed.
While these are common, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be addressed. In order for you to function at your best, you need to take care of yourself in a way that's going to help you reach your goals.
Seeking Chiropractic Care for Sleep Problems
While you may associate chiropractic care with things like back and neck pain. You might find it interesting that chiropractic care was scientifically proven to help improve sleep for many people facing a variety of problems. We'll talk about different steps this study had and the findings of each.
Expectation study - There were 15 chiropractors and 221 patients in this part of the study. Doctors and patients alike felt that the patients' sleep had improved.
Semi-structured interview - One-third of the 154 participants reported improved sleep within the first visit.
Insomniacs - Twenty patients with insomnia participated in the study. All of them felt they got better sleep for six days following their first appointment.
