Meet The Doctors
Dr. Jessica Eckman was born and raised here in northeast Ohio. She grew up in a holistic based family, where food and supplements came before medications. That belief system has followed her throughout life. She graduated from Hiram College in 2006 with a BA in Biology. Dr. Eckman then went on to get her doctorate from Life University in 2012.
She has been practicing in Ohio since 2012. Dr. Jessica is passionate about whole family chiropractic care and specializes in prenatal and pediatric care. She holds post-graduate certifications in both. Dr. Eckman has helped many patients in the area with her experience in both chiropractic care and functional medicine.
Dr. Jessica enjoys playing volleyball, camping, hiking, going to the beach and kayaking. She values her large extended family and has a daughter, as well as a new granddaughter, who has been adjusted regularly since birth.
Dr. Jeffrey Holman is a distinguished graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, is a dedicated healthcare professional committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals through chiropractic care. With a passion for promoting holistic wellness, Dr. Jeffrey employs a patient-centered approach, combining expertise in spinal adjustments with a focus on lifestyle modifications to optimize health.
Having earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College, Dr. Jeffrey is well-versed in the latest advancements in chiropractic science and is dedicated to continuous learning. He possesses a profound understanding of the intricate connection between the spine and overall health, utilizing this knowledge to design personalized treatment plans that address the root cause of ailments.
Dr. Jeffrey specializes in not only alleviating pain but also empowering patients to achieve long-term wellness. Dr. Smith graduated from New York Chiropractic College in July 2000. He practiced at Powell Chiropractic Clinic from 2000 till 2011. Dr. Smith has lived in Canton a long time, graduating from McKinley High School in 1989, Malone University (B.A. Sports Science) and Akron University (M.S. Exercise Physiology). He also received his Diplomate in Chiropractic Acupuncture in 2010. From 2011 till 2023, he worked for a company in the animal genomics and medical biotechnology space.
Dr. Smith feels he has been led back to being a Chiropractor and is eager and excited to serve patients with their healthcare needs. He fully believes in the Mission of The Joint: To Improve Quality of life through routine and affordable Chiropractic Care.
Dr. Smith has been married to his wife Andrea since 1996. They have 4 sons: Christopher, Jonah, Zachary, and Benjamin.
