Meet The Doctors
Dr. Sarah Basinger grew up in Miamisburg, OH, a suburb of Dayton. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020 earning a degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a minor in American Sign Language Studies. She then moved to Dallas, TX where she attended Parker University and obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2024.
Dr. Sarah began her chiropractic career in Kalamazoo, Michigan practicing family chiropractic. She then moved back to Columbus and began working for The Joint in February 2025. She is excited to share her passion for patient education and serve the Columbus communities.
Dr. Sarah says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is being able to help people through a holistic approach: “Chiropractic isn’t just for pain—it’s for maintaining wellness and mobility so you can live your life the way you want to.”
In her spare time, Dr. Sarah enjoys reading, traveling, catching up with friends and family, and practicing yoga. She also enjoys watching movies and spending time with her cat, Phoenix
Dr. David Black is a 1977 graduate of Washington High School in Cherokee, Iowa. He graduated with honors, was a member of the National Honor Society. He earned three varsity letters in Track and Field and also lettered in Baseball.
After he graduated from the University of Iowa, in 1981 he attended the Palmer College of Chiropractic and he graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 1984. While attending Palmer College, he taught at the Palmer School of Chiropractic Technicians Public Health for one year and Spinal and Neuroanatomy for two years.
His current professional interests include general Chiropractic practice with an emphasis on children, sports injuries, and headaches
Dr. Black is married happily to Diana for 27 years. They have six children - Gretchen, Landon, Derek, Grace, Caleb and Lydia. In additional, they have four grandchildren.
He is interested in hunting, fishing and all sports of many kind, especially involving their children. He also has a keen interest in history with an emphasis on American history.
Dr. Greer was first introduced to chiropractic as a patient after an injury she sustained during a horseback riding accident. She was fascinated not only with how her treatment provided pain relief, but also how it affected the rest of her through the nervous system. After graduating Cum Luade from Albion College in Michigan with a major in Kinesiology, Dr. Greer attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In addition to the ordinary course of study, Dr. Greer enrolled in elective chiropractic technique courses while at Palmer inclusive of Sacro-Occipital Technique, Thompson, Activator, and Advanced Soft Tissue. She graduated Summa Cum Luade with an award for Academic Excellence in June of 2018. Dr. Greer has a passion for approaching each patient as a whole and incorporates personalized nutrition, exercise, and activities of daily living counseling and soft tissue work in addition to chiropractic care. She loves to empower patients to take control of their health and will work with her patients to create a care plan to fill their needs and lifestyle.
