BEFORE I BEGIN I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS COMPANY THE JOINT IN BAYTOWN EVEN 1 STAR My name is elizabeth , I and my daughter signed up for service at the Baytown location 2 years years ago . 1 month after I signed up for service I and my daughter decided to cancel , we followed the joints cancellation guidelines and were told everything was canceled. Keep in mind my daughter and I have never visited this place again for 2 years . I noticed on my bank statement this month that The Joint was still taking out 79 dollar’s per month for the last 2 years . So I called The joint and explained what happened and that is where the lies and disrespect from this company came . 1 st we were told that we did not cancel , which is provable lie , 2 nd they said my daughter had been using there service in Florida , in which I told them I or my daughters have not been to Florida in 4 years . WHICH RAISES MORE CONCERNS SBOUT HOW THERE USING MY INFORMATION, how can somebody walk into a Florida location use my daughters name to gain services without being asked for identification. I ask the joint for proof my daughter went to Florida, they could not provide and told me to call the store in Florida 3rd I went to there location and and was ridiculed about how I spoke English. The service person said she did not speak Spanish and could not help me because she could not understand me, next she started talking Spanish asked to speak with the manager This was very hurtful to me due to how much I have studied English and have and have been told by other professionals that I speak very well. . I have graduated and have became a lawful citizen of this United States over 28 years ago. This office in Baytown Tx ridiculed my English , accused me of lying and to this day have not returned the full amount that they agreed to This company is not to be trusted , please recheck your bank statements after cancelling your service and make sure your services are not being used by someone in another location The manager said he would return 1 year of service and provide the rest in store credit. To this day I have have not been returned the full amount

I chose the walk in option for my visit today. I was greeted by Sabrina when I arrived, and she immediately started the paperwork process. After the paperwork I given a computer pad, to view a video addressing potential health problems doe to poor spine health...very informative. I was then introduced to Doctor Perez. He ask me questions regarding my own health, and where I was experiencing. After he gatherered the required information, he showed me a model of the spine, and explained where pain was originating. He then proceeded with the adjustment, which took no more than 5 minutes. Thank you Sabrina and Doctor Perez...I feel better already. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This is the best chiropractor I've ever been too. Dr. Perez and his staff are always very friendly and professional. I'm in and out in less than 10 minutes normally and I always feel better after a visit. This clinic is not your normal quack chiropractic office that doesn't adjust you until after a few visits and when they do it's only a lumbar roll. You get adjusted from neck to the lower back everytime you go unless you specify otherwise. The prices are cheaper than using my insurance coverage...I just buy one of the plans. Give them a shot it's only $29 for a first visit, I'm glad I did.

Hello, apologies for earlier today. I preferred Mr. Hicks due to his subtle yet knowledgeable adjustments. They are unlike normal adjustments yet more effective. Your adjustments in January were indeed effective after a few days, yet i was suffering from dislocated ribs and was in great pain afterwards. Hicks will voluntarily walk me through each step before he follows through. From a patients standpoint, this is very beneficial as we are usually nervous before each adjustment. Again, i am sure you are extremely qualified in you field. However, i prefer Mr. Hick's style based on communication and subtlety. I hope this message finds you well. Thank you.

I was planning on a one time visit. Dr. Whitaker adjusted my elbow, and I'm without pain for the first time in 8 months. As he worked other areas it was clear that he was able to identify problem areas without me having to point them out. That is not common. I cannot sell you enough on chiropractic care. 10 years ago I suffered a neck injury that left me in severe pain and dependent on prescription pain medications. Due to being so young the doctor said surgery really wasn't an option only referral to pain management physician. Last resort I tried the chiropractor and it truly changed my life. I've now gone to many different joint locations, Baytown being my new home one and I'm always extremely pleased. If I find myself not going to the joint for a couple weeks I lose range of motion in my neck and can't sleep due to bad headaches, but thanks to the joint I am now pain-free and able to do everything I need to do.

The adjustment was fine. Dr Hix seemed competent, caring and knowledgeable. I had no unrealistic expectations and am happy to report that I felt relief. Unfortunately, AFTER the adjustment Dr. Hix was in the process of trying to upsell me on the packages available based upon his recommendations. I was listening while ALSO looking at my cellphone due to having an urgent text from my 16yo. Dr. Hix copped a MAJOR and beyond rude/unprofessional attitude because in his “opinion”, I wasn’t paying attention. He then repeated his rudeness in front of all persons in the lobby when he handed my paperwork to his receptionist. For that alone, I will not be returning.

Never again! I went in for a routine adjustment after telling myself I would not go back there. They do not care about you and only want you to sign up for a monthly plan. The front desk will cram in down your throat to try and get you to sign up. But the worst part about it, is that I left there in pain. I told the therapist that and he said he would give it one more try and that is it. This was on a Monday. By Tuesday night, I was in the ER with the worst pain I have ever felt running down my right arm! I left there after being put on pain meds and had to go see an orthopedic surgeon. He told me that I have a pinched nerve in my neck caused by the fluid busting and leaking from my vertebrae. Now after over a $1000 in medical bills and many visits to the doctors, I have to have a shot in my neck to relieve the pressure. I have never experienced anything like this. This pain is unbearable and I will NEVER go back to the Joint and I will tell everyone I know my story and HIGHLY recommend never go to the Joint. They do not care about you and only want your money.

My adult daughter was in extreme pain all day with a pinched nerve in her neck that affected her entire upper body. She called earlier to try to get in and they said "no walk-ins" (website says walk-ins welcome). I called at 6:20 and begged the receptionist to ask the dr to make an exception and that this wasn't just a routine adjustment. SEVERE PAIN was involved. She spoke with Dr. Michelle and she said "No". This place has zero empathy and just wants to get in your wallet! Totally disgusted as we all know an adjustment takes 5 min MAX!!

This place has saved me from being in constant chronic pain with my lower back as well as migraines. I started coming in August 2-3 times a week to get my body back to "normal" & then once a week for maintenance. I no longer have daily headaches. The doctors here are truly amazing. I had been going to a regular chiropractor for years for adjustments before and after back surgery, but sometimes the wait could be long. I really like this place because the adjustments are the same but I get in and out really quickly - 5 minutes or less usually. Sometimes it might take a little longer if there is a new patient there. I also like the prepaid packages that really cut down on the price per visit. Also, it doesn't expire so I can go when I want and how often I want without feeling the need to rush through the appointments within a certain time. I signed up with The Joint for the first time more than a year ago! I was having lower back pain! You get four sessions for $79 but you must sign up for a minimum of two months!! First few sessions were great, felt relief but as soon as I filled out request to cancel membership it was over! It’s like they undo whatever good they did to your back! They hurt me so bad that after that I’m hurting from my neck down to my lower back! I came back to them here recently because I was desperate, my back never got better after they aggravated my problem! Same thing happened this time around, no one was ever able to adjust my hip area where the problem began! I filled out form to cancel membership and my last visit was very uncomfortable! Dr Velez was rude, totally not the person I met when I first signed up!! She seemed bothered that I was there and basically told me that if nobody had been able to adjust my hips it was because I was the problem! I know a chiropractor lady in Houston that would adjust my hip every single time and I felt instant relief to my lower back! The only reason I didn’t go to her instead of the Joint was because lady has been closed since the pandemic! My last session after I cancelled my membership was with Dr Velez, she rushed to adjust my back and leaned all her weight on my back and hurt it bad!! I understood that my well-being was not important to her anymore since that was my last session!! I voiced my disappointment to her and told her that I would not be returning to them ever again!!! I already told my family not to go there!!!

I have to drive over an hour for every treatment and it's worth it. The Joint is a testament to the effectiveness of the free market, as going to them twice a week was still cheaper than going through a chiropractor through my insurance for only one visit a week. Anyone who claims chiropractic care doesn't work, still need to explain to me how a straight spine isn't preferable to a crooked one.
