Dr. Jada Lee, D.C.—known by her patients as Dr. Jada or Dr. Lee—is passionate about building meaningful connections and empowering others on their healing journeys. Dr. Lee graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida (December 2024) and is eagerly looking forward to serving the community with heart, hands, and a mission to make an impact.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Jada always knew she wanted to become a doctor—even as a young child. After losing several loved ones to chronic illness, she made it her life’s mission to be a force for change in her community. That mission became clear when, as a college freshman at the University of Missouri, she discovered chiropractic through a pre-med organization. Fascinated by the body and deeply impressed by how chiropractors study anatomy more extensively than medical students, she found her calling.
With degrees in Biology and Spanish, plus a Certificate in Multicultural Studies and Minor in Black Studies, Dr. Jada brings a well-rounded and culturally aware perspective to care. She understands how important it is to be seen, heard, and understood—especially when patients feel overlooked by the traditional medical system. That’s one of her favorite parts about chiropractic: the unmatched connection with patients and the opportunity to listen and truly help.
One of the most powerful lessons Dr. Jada teaches her patients is that they are doing the healing—she’s simply there to facilitate it. Together, they form a team focused on improving health, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life.
Her heart for service extends globally. Dr. Jada has participated in three chiropractic mission trips—to Negril and Kingston, Jamaica and Sayulita, Mexico. The most meaningful moments? When patients returned to show their gratitude through gifts—everything from stickers and home-cooked meals to fruit and hugs. These gestures reflect the safe space she creates for healing and connection.
When she's not adjusting spines, Dr. Jada is expressing herself through art and music. A lifelong musician, she loves playing the viola, cooking, reading, drawing, and diving into anything creative. Music was her first love, but chiropractic quickly became a passion just as deep.
Dr. Jada is more than a chiropractor—she’s a listener, a teacher, a healer, and an advocate for wellness. With every adjustment, she’s helping her patients reconnect with their bodies, their strength, and their potential.
Dr. Jeanette Goodwill is a passionate and dedicated chiropractor committed to helping the Mission Bend and greater Houston community achieve natural, lasting wellness. She finds immense joy in being part of her patients' health journeys, seeing the positive impact of chiropractic care firsthand, and empowering individuals to live healthier lives.
Her path to becoming a chiropractor was inspired by a lifelong belief in the body's own healing power. A Houston native, Dr. Jeanette grew up in the South Union area and knew from a young age she wanted to be a doctor, but her personal experience of avoiding medications led her toward a more holistic path. The turning point came during a university class where a chiropractor described the profession as "natural healing." Those two words resonated deeply, solidifying her calling to serve her home city. She pursued this passion by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Prairie View A&M University, followed by her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the renowned Parker University.
Dr. Jeanette believes the key to lasting health is awareness and empowerment. She focuses on educating her practice members about their bodies, helping them connect how a healthy spine and nervous system lead to improved function and overall well-being. For her, the goal is to give patients the tools and confidence to take control of their health.
A testament to the family-focused care she brings to Houston is one of her most memorable patient stories involving pediatric chiropractic. A mother brought in her two-year-old daughter who, due to a birth injury, only used one side of her body. After just six gentle adjustments, the child began using both arms, her balance and coordination improved, and she became more verbal. The transformation was so profound that on the seventh visit, her father came in to begin his own chiropractic care journey.
When she's not at The Joint Chiropractic in Mission Bend, Dr. Jeanette loves watching true crime documentaries, challenging her mind with escape rooms, and traveling to new places.

Yes, chiropractors are considered doctors, though they aren't medical doctors (MDs). They earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, which involves comprehensive training to diagnose and treat issues related to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractors focus on enhancing patient health and functionality using natural, non-invasive care methods.
Deciding if chiropractic care is “worth it” really depends on your individual needs and situation. Studies show it can be helpful for specific issues, especially low back and neck pain, for relief and function. But it’s important to consider the risks and talk to a healthcare provider to determine if it’s right for you.
If you’re experiencing chronic back or neck pain, frequent headaches or joints that feel stiff or achy, chiropractic care might be for you. It’s also a good idea if you’ve been in a car accident or injured and affecting your mobility or comfort.
Many people come in because their body just doesn’t feel right. Maybe you’re waking up sore, feeling shoulder tension by the end of the day or noticing certain movements aren’t as easy as they used to be. You don’t have to wait for the pain to get worse; chiropractic care can be a proactive approach to supporting your overall health and preventing future problems.
No referral is needed and no pressure. Just come in when your body tells you to.
How frequently you should visit a chiropractor really depends on your individual needs—your body, your lifestyle, and your specific goals for care. Some individuals come in with acute issues like a stiff neck, persistent back pain, or unrelenting headaches. Others may be dealing with old injuries, muscle tension from long work hours, or simply aiming to feel and function better daily.
Your chiropractor will create a personalized treatment plan based on your immediate needs and long-term wellness objectives. This plan may involve three general stages of care:
Once you're feeling better, ongoing chiropractic care during the wellness phase can help you maintain that well-being. Many people find that regular adjustments improve their mobility, enhance their sleep, and help them manage the physical stresses of everyday life.
