He is committed to making a positive impact one adjustment at a time by helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Originally from Pearland, Texas, Dr. Chapa earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in April 2026. Throughout his clinical training, he developed a strong passion for patient education and believes that empowering patients with knowledge is one of the most important aspects of healthcare. He takes the time to answer questions thoroughly and help patients better understand how to care for their bodies both inside and outside the clinic.

Dr. Chapa was inspired to pursue chiropractic care after witnessing firsthand how life-changing treatment can be. During his first experience working in a chiropractic clinic, he met a patient who relied on a cane for mobility. After only two weeks of chiropractic adjustments and no other treatments, the patient was able to walk without the cane. Experiences like that reinforced Dr. Chapa’s belief in the body’s ability to heal and motivated him to dedicate his career to helping others naturally overcome pain and physical limitations.

During chiropractic school, Dr. Chapa also worked with a patient who had suffered from chronic pain for years. After treatment, the patient shared with Dr. Chapa and his professor that he felt the best he had felt in over a decade. Moments like these continue to fuel his passion for chiropractic care and patient wellness.

Dr. Chapa enjoys helping patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, joint discomfort, posture issues, mobility limitations, and everyday aches and pains. He understands how debilitating pain can be and strives to help patients regain comfort, confidence, and quality of life through safe, non-invasive treatment options.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Chapa enjoys spending time with his partner Katherine, working out at the gym, cooking, trying new restaurants, and binge-watching movies and television shows. He and Katherine met in their first undergraduate history class, and years later she now works at the Houston Medical Center in neurology research, leading a Parkinson’s disease research project. Together, they share a passion for healthcare, learning, and helping others.

Roy the chiropractor was amazing. I injured my neck a bit from jiu jitsu and judo and he took extra care of me. His specialty is working on the neck. I returned to the chiropractor after many years due to a severe headache, and this time I met Dr. Roy . I was very desperate because of the pain and wanted quick service. When Dr. Roy started asking me questions, I wanted the quick service, feeling frustrated, but he took his time to learn more about my physical problem. I am feeling good and relax with my 2nd visit today. The staff is very humble and chiropractic was great with helping me to reduce my pain. My first visit I was 9.5 out of 10 pain rating scale and after his first treatment my pain was 7.5 at home. I have seen Dr. Alex twice. Very nice, charming young man. Listens to my problem areas before treating me. The first time I went, I was very tight. He attempted to adjust my spine in different spots, but when it didn’t crack he wouldn’t try again. That was disappointing. The second time I mentioned this and I said I wanted him to keep trying until he made the adjustments. He agreed and it went much better. Great that he is open to feedback and adjusts accordingly, trying different types of adjustments to get to problem areas. He is fairly new at this I think but with the skills he already has, he will become one of the best as he gets more experience under his belt. Aaliyah at the front desk is also great. Her upbeat personality and smile as I walk in brightens my day. And her phone skills are impeccable and delightfully refreshing in this day of “hello. how may I help you” automatons. She seems to genuinely enjoy the job and trying to make the customer’s day better. A rare find!

Like others have recently said, this location isn’t open during the hours it should be, especially on Saturdays. They supposedly open at 10 but it’s still closed at 11. I find it very odd that they text me reminders to come in for a session, but never seem to text me that they will be closed last-minute? Why am I paying for a membership if I can’t even use it on the days that I want to when you are obligated to be open per the business hours THAT YOU CHOSE? This is quite sad because I actually used to like this location.

I had visited this chiropractic clinic about 3 months ago for ongoing back and neck pain. The doctor recommended a package of 6 adjustments, and I continued going regularly—ultimately completing over 12 adjustments in total. Unfortunately, I did not notice any real improvement in my pain during this time. The treatment did not seem effective for me personally. The pricing also became a concern. I was initially charged around $130 for the first set of visits, and later placed on a monthly plan of $79 for 4 adjustments. When I tried to cancel the membership, I was told someone from management would contact me, but I never received a follow-up and the charge still went through again. Overall, based on my personal experience, I feel the treatment did not help my condition and the billing/cancellation process was not handled well. I would recommend others carefully review the treatment plan and payment terms before committing.

I’m not sure who the chiropractor on staff was during my visit, but the adjustment felt very rough. At the time, I felt okay when I left the office. However, once I got home, the pain became significantly worse. I’m now having difficulty walking, sitting, squatting, getting up from a lying position, and bending over. I understand that some soreness can be normal after an adjustment, but this feels far beyond typical discomfort.

This review isn’t for the location per se but is for Dr. Baldwin. I am traveling almost an hour each week just to see this angel of a woman. I am in my second trimester of pregnancy and boy does she take great care of me! She is the only doctor at the joint (I have been to four other locations) that isn’t afraid of treating pregnant women and actually delivers results rather than just poking around scared like other providers. I wish she could split her time between Mission Bend and Summerwood ? but I will make the trip knowing that I will receive excellent care rather than mediocrity at other locations. Thank you Dr. Baldwin!!!

Honestly, this location is going to be the reason I cancel my Joint membership. I have come more than 5 times and the location has been closed with no previous notice. This is unacceptable and a lack of respect for people’s time. There has been high turnover over and you never know what doctor you are going to get. Since they aren’t giving me anything for free I will find a place I can count on for my adjustments.

I used to have back pain and neck problems, I went to the chiropractor several times, all he did was push my neck and some electrical wires hot waves, that cost me $65 each visit, I didn’t feel any better.❗️Then I found the The Joint, the gave me the comprehensive adjustment, felt so much better ‼️ I pay 79 a month, go there once a week, it worth every penny ? This is your sign to come to this establishment immediately!! This is my third visit, but it was my first time seeing Dr. Lee. I will say she has the most softest hands. I didn’t know what happened until the adjustment and relief was already done. The whole staff and the three different doctors that have helped me so far have listened to my needs. They have helped me thoroughly, I literally count the days until I can come back. And of course, the lovely receptionist Jacynnia! The exam was great however I didn’t realize I was gonna walk out having/expected to pay up front for a monthly plan when I told the front desk I didn’t have the money to pay $208 up front he didn’t really offer anything else I walked in there because the initial visit was advertised as $29.99. I asked if I could at least split the $208 into payments but he gave a look like I was talking non sense.

Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff have been a great help in helping me with a lower backpain that I had on my right hip that would not go away and caused me great discomfort in moving and laying down. Don't go to this place, they just put you to sign a contract and they don't tell you about the contract, they just tell you how you feel so that you go for the other appointment. And the payments are automatic and you don't know that they have to pay the next month. I went to complain and they always tell me that the boss is not here or that he is on vacation.

I’ve been going to a chiropractor regularly for 30 years. I saw the same chiropractor for over 25 years until he retired a few years ago. For many years he offered both traditional adjustments and the Activator Method until he eventually converted all of his patience to the activator. Unfortunately he was one of a handful of Chiropractors in the Houston area who used this method and his retirement was going to leave a huge void for his patience who were fond of this gentle technique. Fortunately, I found another Chiropractor, Dr. Lambeth, at The Joint clinic at Bissonnet and Hwy 6 who uses the Activator Method with the same excellent results. For those not familiar with the Activator Method it is a gentler and in my opinion more precise alternative to a traditional Chiropractic adjustment. Anyone who is in search of a Chiropractor I highly recommend Dr. Lambeth. He has the rare knowledge and skill to offer both traditional adjustments and the Activator Method.

I haven’t been outside the house like that since my grandma died. I was borderline terrified to go anywhere and I’m glad I came across The Joint Chiropractic. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I think the service is okay. I went in with three friends on 3 different occasions and I notice that the doctor wasn’t as thorough with my friend who was African American and a military veteran. I feel the doctor was way too casual and didn’t take the assessment of them thoroughly like he did us. Resulting in them not wanting to return.

Finally I found a chiropractor that understands and knows where to adjust. Dr O’neal has been great at helping provide relief to my discomfort. The young girl, Ariel at the front desk is very welcoming and explained the contract well. The first impression of any place when you come in should be of acknowledgement to the patient Ariel definitely makes sure you feel welcome. The Joint was great! I have a rib that keeps popping out and giving me issues. Dr. O'Neal is the only one who has ever gotten it back in place and given me relief. Ms. Arielle at the desk was absolutely delightful. I talked to her and bothered her the whole time and not once did she make me feel like a nuisance. They made me feel completely at home. I unfortunately have to update my review because in the years I've been a client they can't keep the good chiropractors. I've tried to give Dr. Soliman a chance over the last couple of months but every time I've left feeling worse. They offered me to see a new Dr. complimentary but he is only available Fridays. The setbacks from seeing him since last week has been so rough it cost my job today .. Thanks Dr Soliman I do not recommend at all save yourself and go anywhere else Sat - Thurs. I tried to reach back out the the Director who called me with no luck.

I have been having problems with my left knee and my sciatic nerve so I be in pain a lot. I have be going to the joint chiropractic for about an month and I love it. They sit down with you and get a good understanding if you’re problems and concerns and then they will work on you. I’m disappointed. I went in with my back pain where my left pelvic bone was unadjusted. I came home and realized that my left is okay now but my right pelvic bone is not sitting right anymore. I went back in and paid for another appointment which was $15 more than the initial walk-ins and she adjusted my right this time but my left felt awkward and I told her immediately but she told me it’s feeling like maybe because she just adjusted it but it will be fine. I come home thinking it will be fine. It’s been 5 days and I’m back to square one where my left pelvic bone is not sitting right.

I’ve tried several The Joint locations, but none compares to Mission Bend location. Usually I am adjusted by Dr. Daniels or Dr.Rossi, and not only are their adjustments on points but their educational communication they shared with me as they adjust me brought me satisfaction because that’s what I look for in my doctor. In addition their customer service is excellent. Lastly, Jennifer the receptionist is really awesome and her alertness is 10/10. Highly recommend the mission bend location!

My first visit at The Joint Chiropractic and I must say Dr. Simpson was the best. I was so stiff and in pain ? but Dr. Simpson talked me through everything and I walked out feeling brand new. I was out of the City and I paid for 3 months of therapies, and I had 2 more therapies already paid for and they told me that since the month had passed, I couldn’t take them and that they believe that they did not return my money or give me therapy, and still receptionist from the counter was rude and was laughing at me, I will never return bad service and they kept my money; this happened on 4/01/23 at 10 am. I have been regularly been coming here for the past two months and Dr Daniels, who recently started working here, has been the best chiropractic experience thus far! I had tight up mid back muscles and she used a deep tissue massager to try to loosen them. She was also firm during the session and was able to coach me through the stretch she recommended for my sciatica on my left thigh. I honestly felt a new feeling on my left thigh. 5 Stars All Around! I called to cancel my membership. Was told I signed a 2 month minimum so I couldn't cancel. Fair warning I didn't read any of that contract but wasn't told it was a 2 month minimum. And the cherry on top I had to go into office to cancel my membership. Staff is good. The membership cracks the same bones every time. I didn't feel a difference so I wanted to cancel.

Stopped in 30 minutes until close because I was unable to turn my neck without excruciating pain (crick). Was turned away because they had a new patient. New patient appointments do not take 30 minutes. I’ve been a customer of The Joint for 12 years and been to locations all over Houston and in other states and this is the first time I’ve ever been turned away. Have 2 active memberships opened at Gessner. Came to mission bend because I live closer to this location-to add another membership because spouse really needed to be adjusted today but since it was 1 hr 1 minute before 5 she couldn’t see a new patient. Come on - they take like 5 minutes max. Im coming to give more of my money for them not to make a small exception to relieve someone’s pain and another membership! I understand if Im coming in 20 minutes prior to closing. Im cancelling my memberships-have no care for customer service or empathy. I would like to see the rule the front desk quoted posted somewhere.

Dr. Natalie is great…but Dr. Austin….great chiropractor but asked my boyfriend and I if we were planning on vaccinating our baby, proceeded to give out a bunch of medical advice that he was not qualified to give about vaccinations and what to feed my child etc. and a lot if other things that made me not want to go back after being a new pt for about 2 months.
