Managing Your Stress at Work

From urgent deadlines to rushed projects to all of your patients, customers, or clients, the stress you face on a daily basis can easily take its toll on your overall health and wellness if you are not careful. In fact, workplace stress can have significant, long-term effects that may be difficult to reverse if ignored for too long! Thankfully, there are many things you can do to reduce those levels of stress. Take a look at a few of them below.

Take Plenty of Breaks to Move

Exercise is known to reduce the levels of stress in our lives, but the office isn't always the best place to pull on your sneakers and pull out your weights, is it? So you may need to improvise. Here are some great ideas on how to incorporate more movement into your workday.

  • Take a short walk between phone calls and meetings
  • Get some sunshine by walking your clients to their cars
  • Stretch your back, neck, and shoulders frequently throughout the day
  • Ditch the chair and sit on an exercise ball

Manage Your Time
