Meet The Doctors

Dr. Brad Price, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Killeen

Dr. Brad Price joined The Joint Chiropractic team in 2017 and splits his time between the Killeen and Temple clinic locations. A graduate of University of Texas, where he studied kinesiology and marketing, Dr. Price received his doctorate of chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.

“The thing I love most about being in this field is helping people feel better, and the other thing is getting to study interesting topics,” he says.

A product of central Texas, Dr. Price worked previously in Austin.

In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, hunting, and hanging out with his dog, a boxer named Chloe. Like most others, he also likes Texas football.

He knew chiropractic was his calling after first-hand experience; he suffered through herniated discs in his back but got relief after being treated by a chiropractor.

The great thing about working at The Joint is that Dr. Price gets to treat all types of people, including those he enjoys treating the most: “I love serving the men and women who help protect our country,” he says.

In Case You Didn’t Know

Dr. Price says the one thing he always keeps in his refrigerator is milk. “It’s proof that life is good,” he says.

As for the people from history he would invite to his ideal dinner party, he would like to sit down with athletes Tom Brady and Michael Jordan, President Ronald Reagan and Texas senator Ted Cruz.

Dr. Price says the coolest thing he ever did was winning the national football championship, while on staff at Louisiana State, a 38-24 victory over Ohio State at the Superdome in New Orleans in January 2008. Dr. Price was the assistant strength coach for LSU. “Very few people in this country will ever be a part of a national championship team,” he says.

Dr. Adam Wade became part of The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers in 2022 when he joined the Temple and Killeen clinic locations, where he finds the work rewarding.

“I love making a difference in the health and well-being of my patients,” he says. “I find a lot of satisfaction in helping people without the use of drugs to improve the quality of life one patient at a time.”

Born in Iowa, Dr. Wade moved to Austin in the late 1980s. His hobbies involve any outdoor adventure imaginable, including fishing, hunting, farming, and kayaking.

He earned an associate of science degree in production agriculture and a bachelor of science in aviation at Palmer college of Chiropractic and AAS Central Texas College. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Wade decided to become a chiropractor when he saw the benefits of his own treatment.

“After having back problems for years as a corporate restaurant general manager, chiropractic helped me get through my work week with minimal pain and dysfunction,” he says. “It allowed me to perform day-to-day tasks without pain and I wanted to do the same for others.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

Fresh fruit can always be found in Dr. Wade’s refrigerator. “Fruit seems to go with every meal!”

If Dr. Wade put together the ideal dinner party, he would invite Jesus, BJ Palmer, Tony Robbins, and Florence Nightingale. “They would bring knowledge in a broad spectrum of areas and create many talking points that have shaped me over the years.” One of the most important experiences of Dr. Wade’s life was becoming a father. “Not only has my life changed in a positive way, but it gives me the drive to do the best I can and be a great example in how to strive for your goals and help others with no expectations in return.”

Dr. Wade has an encouraging word for everyone who has a desire to grow. “It's never too late to follow your dreams!” he says. “We are capable of more than we can imagine if we are willing to put in the effort and focus needed!”

Dr. Brian Fennelly joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 when he became part of the team at the clinic in Killeen, where he does the rewarding work of helping people as their local healthcare provider.

“I enjoy introducing a more natural approach to people who have suffered needlessly,” he says. “It is rewarding to see the look on a person’s face when they experience relief from pain through the use of chiropractic as a tool that enables the body to heal itself. I love helping people to improve their function and watch them progress to a place they didn’t realize was possible. I get to see how it affects their daily life including their livelihood, relationships, and their ability to do whatever it is they want to do in life!”

Dr. Brian, as his patients call him, previously worked in Spring, Woodlands, Pasadena, and Conroe.

“I grew up in Pasadena where I had my first experience with chiropractic as a teenager,” he says. “I had severe allergies as a child and went through horrific testing, strict diet modifications, weekly shots, and medications for years, but none of it worked. My parents went to a chiropractor for back pain and the doctor educated them about how the nervous system affects the entire body and how chiropractic might help. After three weeks of chiropractic care I was allergy-free in the middle of hay fever season. I knew I wanted to go into the sciences, so I decided to go to chiropractic college in order to help others in the same way.”

Dr. Brian’s wife, Melissa, is a healthy baker, preparing low-carb, keto, and gluten-free foods. The couple has two sons.

When he isn’t working, Dr. Brian enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, and “just about anything in the great outdoors,” he says.

He studied functional medicine and earned a Doctorate at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena.

One of his most memorable experiences as a chiropractor was treating the late country singer/songwriter Chris LeDoux. “I was asked to adjust him and help him with severe neck pain before his concert,” Dr. Brian says. “It was my pleasure, because I was a huge fan!”

He likes working with members of the military at The Joint in Killeen. “I particularly enjoy treating the soldiers and their families here at Fort Hood,” he says. “Giving back to all of the men and women who have served our country is rewarding.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

He always has grass-fed butter in the refrigerator. “If you know, you know,” he says.

If he could plan the perfect dinner party including famous guests, Dr. Brian would invite:

Mike Rowe - “As ‘Dirty Jobs’ host he is always so interesting, straightforward and is an awesome storyteller.”

Sylvester Stallone - “He is ‘Rocky’ and ‘Rambo,’ so enough said.”

Steve Rinella - “Since he’s the host of ‘MeatEater’ he could critique how I cook wild game.”

Dave Asprey - “As Bulletproof Diet creator, author, podcaster, and the ‘king of biohacking,’ it would be fun to swap ideas with him on wellness and longevity.”

“Getting married and having kids have been the most memorable and impactful events in my life experience,” he says.

Life Force by Tony Robbins is a book that’s meant a lot to Dr. Brian. “He introduces health and wellness advancements that are changing healthcare as we know it in this country,” he says.

If he wrote an autobiography he would entitle it Brian's World, “because in my world things would make sense!”

Dr. Brian’s favorite response when asked for advice is: “Don't give unsolicited advice!”
