Dr. Evelina Esparza joined The Joint July 2020, before joining The Joint Dr. Esparza worked as an associate in both Texas and New Mexico. She attended undergrad at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her degree in Biology.
She earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2010 from Parker University this was where she did a study abroad program in South America as a chiropractic intern for the Colombian Olympic Team. During this time, Dr. Esparza also holds an Anatomy degree and a Health and Wellness Degree.
In her 12-year career she has successfully treated many patients of all ages and abilities, from professionally trained athletes to weekend warriors.
In her spare time, Dr Esparza enjoys spending time with her family, camping, playing soccer, hiking and laughing.

I didn't have a long wait time, being that I was a new patient, but I can say this: they were moving super fast, getting all the patient questions answered. I was the 2nd person there at 10 am and I can say they saw about 10 to 12 patients before me—great Work to the 2 Doctors who were there today. After getting adjusted, the healing process really moved a lot quicker. My daughter went to the Joint during her whole pregnancy, and it really helped her with her delivery. Now, my granddaughter goes as an infant, and it has helped her sleep longer stretches. Along with that, it’s helped her little tummy process mommy’s milk so much smoother. They also are open 7 days a week, so you don't have an excuse not to take care of your spine. My Story: I unfortunately missed my appointment the week prior, but the receptionist (I wish I knew her name) easily rescheduled me for the 22nd. I went into my appointment with my paperwork completed, and the chiropractor, Chris, quickly went to work addressing my various joint issues. He completed my first adjustment after discussing the disk degeneration occurring because of my terrible posture for at least a half-decade. Chris then provided stretches until my next adjustment and aftercare techniques and stretches. I bought a membership to this location because I know that (a) I already have a genetic predisposition and (b) I have a lot of work to do to get my spine back to where it should be.

5 5 1Amazing!!! This was my first time ever visiting a chiropractor. I went in because I had a pinch pain in my shoulder muscles that was becoming a nuisance. And now I am so glad I came here! Dr. Esparza was super thorough before making any adjustments, and afterward, she gave me so much information about strengthening and stretching the affected area. The next day, save for some minor soreness, the pain was almost all gone. I say almost because it still comes back lightly here and there, but with the work she did on me and the suggestions on how to manage it, it's been SO much better. Super happy with the results and would definitely recommend this place and this doctor. And I will absolutely be back!

5 5 1First, this is a popular clinic for chiropractic help so if you go on Saturdays or Sundays you can find yourself in a wait. That being said, Paula up front is as nice and helpful as you can get. Dr Chuck is really helping me keep my back healthy and out of pain. The parking lot is small in front so if you get there and the starbucks next door is crowded you can find parking around the back in the larger general parking lot for the shopping center. I go once a week because I don't like things getting to an acute stage before getting help. They are upfront that if you need more than adjustments (muscle stimulation or massage) then you should seek help but I can't tell you the times I've walked in in pain and walked out feeling taller and without it. I love the monthly plan so I can go weekly. Highly recommend.

Let me tell you, he has the cure for whatever ailments you might have! He actually took the time to figure out what was wrong and not only fixed it but coached me through the entire process. 5 5 1A true blessing. My wife has had chronic pain in her neck since an accident 25 years ago. I called this office and Tem the receptionist was able to answer every question I had and really put me at ease that they could help. At one point in out conversation Dr. Sherman actually got on the phone. Never have I had the actual dentist or doctor get in the phone. Truly impressed me and made me feel they really cared. When I brought my wife in Dr. Sherman immediately put her at ease and after a thorough examination gave her an adjustment. My wife saw an immediate relief. Don't get me wrong she still has pain but it's been greatly reduced and my wife is excited because she finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel. I can't say enough about this location. Dr. Sherman even called the next day to see how she was. Once again, never has our dentist or family doctor ever called to see how we were after a visit. 5 5 1It was just this Sunday when I was in the car with some very annoying back pain and I asked my spouse to find a place (with the expectation that we wouldn't find anything) and lo and behold the joint popped right up. They brought me in, filled out some paperwork, got me adjusted, and back in moving order. They also sent me some informational PDFs via email once I talked to the doctor about some of my problems. I am glad The Joint opened up as there is finally a Chiropractor, near where I live, that you can see on the weekends when most everyone else only has weekday hours. The other part is that it is walk in only which means when I have back problems that pop up there will be a place that I can just head in and get myself fixed. Finally, I want to talk about their prices. They are pretty much around $40 a visit and no insurance is needed. They do package deals which like any package deal, the more visits you pre-buy, the better the price per visit. Did I mention they do military discount too, but that is only if you do the package deals. So the reason this place gets 5 stars is that it fills a serious medical need on the weekends (and of course normal and some off business hours) at a price that can be afforded for everyday common folk. When you have back pain at a strange hour and don't know where to go I would suggest this place!
