Meet Our Chiropractors
Dr. Jason Basile, D.C.
Life University College of Chiropractic
Years Practicing: 18
Dr. Basile suffered a back injury playing football in high school. Like most people, he went to see the team doctor and was prescribed painkillers, muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory medication. For 3 weeks he took the medicine as prescribed and was not getting any better. Dr. Basile’s father had been seeing a chiropractor and he suggested trying that avenue. After 4 visits with the chiropractor, he was feeling as good as new! He was amazed at how chiropractic had succeeded where traditional medicine had failed… from that day on he was hooked
Prior to his chiropractic education, Dr. Basile earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware in 1991. He then attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia, the largest chiropractic school in the country. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1998, he moved to Houston and began work as an Associate Doctor. In 2001 he went into solo practice and has treated thousands of patients over the last 14 years. In practice, he strives to provide his patients with the latest techniques and equipment to insure them the best results possible.
Dr. Jonathan Hernandez, D.C.
Texas Chiropractic College
Dr. Hernandez is a Rio Grand Valley native that has a passion for chiropractic. He attended South Texas College in McAllen, TX, then finished up at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, studying Chemistry ad Biology, knowing he wanted to get into the medical field. Coming from a science background, he decided to attend Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX because of its science-based curriculum, where he learned a myriad of treatment techniques in order to better serve his patients.
What sparked his interest in the field was a high school injury. Knowing the problem was biomechanics, his mother, in her infinite wisdom, took him to a chiropractor in Mexico, who after one treatment, was able to correct his structural issue. Unfortunately the doctor did not advise him on prevention and read, so his problem still exists to this day, which is fortunately, kept at bay due to his knowledge and use of chiropractic maintenance protocols. He knows first hand, the benefits of routine adjustments.
