Dr. Sammy Bennett grew up in Richardson, Texas where he attended Yale Elementary, Apollo Junior High Berkner High School. Dr. Bennett attended Texas Tech University and worked in the Emergency Room at University Medical Center with the intention of becoming an ER physician. After the birth of his first child, he moved back to north Texas and attended University of North Texas and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Bennett received his second Bachelors of Science from Parker College in Anatomy along with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2005.

Dr. Bennett is a the proud father of 7 kids, all attending the same schools as he did when he was younger; Yale, Apollo and Berkner. Dr. Bennett is also a coach, and has coached football, volleyball and basketball.

Dr. Sammy came to work for the Joint because it allowed him to focus on patients and giving them the best care possible without worrying about anything else.

Dr. Elisabeth Garlington DC, a Texas native, grew up mostly just outside of the metroplex in a small town on the East side. Dr. Garlington went to the Univeristy of North Texas for her pre-requisites and graduated from Parker University in 2015 with her Doctor of Chiropractic and two bachelors, one in Anatomy and one in Health and Wellness. Elisabeth had aspirations of being a Chiropractor as a teen. She sustained a severe concussion and neck injury during one of her Tae Kwon Do classes. Part of her treatment included chiropractic care for the neck pain and headaches, and she knew she wanted to help people like chiropractic helped her. She has taught and mentored upcoming chiropractic graduates while practicing in her own practice, then as an associate in another's clinic, and ultimately joined the Joint family in 2017.

In Dr. Garlington's spare time, she travels the country competing in West Coast Swing dance, and when she is at home, she enjoys reading, baking and crocheting.

Dr. Garlington enjoys working for the Joint because she can focus on patient care and the adjustment, which she believes is the most healing aspect of chiropractic. She also believes in the Joint as a family and team to help take care of the patients together, allowing her to not worry about their continuity of care when she may be off or away, allowing patients to come in when their schedule abides to follow their treatment plan.
