Dr. Sammy Bennett grew up in Richardson, Texas where he attended Yale Elementary, Apollo Junior High Berkner High School. Dr. Bennett attended Texas Tech University and worked in the Emergency Room at University Medical Center with the intention of becoming an ER physician. After the birth of his first child, he moved back to north Texas and attended University of North Texas and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr. Bennett received his second Bachelors of Science from Parker College in Anatomy along with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2005.
Dr. Bennett is a the proud father of 7 kids, all attending the same schools as he did when he was younger; Yale, Apollo and Berkner. Dr. Bennett is also a coach, and has coached football, volleyball and basketball.
Dr. Sammy came to work for the Joint because it allowed him to focus on patients and giving them the best care possible without worrying about anything else.
Dr. Megan Nye grew up in Iowa and joined the U.S. Navy right after high school. She has spent more than 20 years in health care, 16 of those as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. Growing up in Iowa, chiropractic care was a normal part of her health routine and so was an easy choice to make after her time in the Navy.
After her service, she moved home to Iowa to complete her Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Dubuque in ‘06. Then moved to Florida to begin chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic, which she completed in ‘11.
She was deployed to the Middle East during both undergraduate and graduate school, so she had a late start in chiropractic. Dr. Nye practiced in Florida for 1 year before moving to Texas to be near family.
She enjoys working at The Joint because it allows her to focus her attention on her patients.
Dr. Kaur has a passion to educate families by focusing on overall health and wellness through chiropractic adjustments, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Dr. Kaur attained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University and a Bachelor’s of Science Neuropsychology from The University of Toronto. Dr. Kaur specializes in pain management and has helped treat thousands of patients with pain and sports injuries. As a Dallas chiropractor, Dr. Kaur focuses on overall health and wellness through exercise plans, weight loss diets.
