It can be difficult to break out of your comfort zone and try new things, especially when it comes to food. You have found something you’re comfortable eating and like, so why bother expanding? There are a lot of reasons you should think of stretching your comfort zone when it comes to food! There are many foods out there that are affordable and really good for you that you may not have tried yet. Here are a few you may want to consider adding to your pantry.
Clementines
Clementines are great for you, plus they’re conveniently small, seedless, and easy to peel. They are a great snack option because even though they’re small, they pack quite a punch of Vitamin C – 60 percent of your daily needs to be precise. You can take them with you about everywhere since they come prepackaged in their own little peel. Eat them on their own or throw them in with your salad. You need to discover just how tasty they are!
Chickpeas
Chickpeas aren’t just for hummus! You can toast them, add them to your favorite salad, or make a snack out of them by popping them in the oven with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. As a snack, they’re a great alternative to chips if you’re craving something with a crunch. These beans are packed full of fiber as well as heart-healthy fats. Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt has become pretty popular, but it has a lot more uses than just a replacement for regular yogurt at breakfast. You can use Greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream or the heavy cream in your favorite recipes.

Chia seeds have graduated beyond the chia pet to take its place as a genuine health food. These tiny seeds are full of fiber, and can easily be added to smoothies, salads, oatmeal, or yogurt to help give it an extra nutritional boost!
