Meet The Doctors

Dr. Christina Judon, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Hello, my name is Dr Christina Judon. I was a military kid who grew up in Clarksville, TN.

I love fitness! I enjoy running, hiking, biking and Crossfit. I coached Crossfit while in chiropractic school. In high school and in college, I competed in cross country and track. At Tennessee Tech, the 800 was my main event. To this day, I still have a special place in my heart for track. Being on a team, taught me how important it is not only to set goals and foster my own dreams but also to encourage and push others to do the same as well.

After college, I moved to Charlotte and worked as an Engineer and realized I wanted to do something that allowed me to help others on a more personal level. I started with small steps like getting my certification in personal training though Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and a postural and motion certification with Egoscue Posture Therapy. I loved the small steps I had taken but decided it was time for a big leap into the service and healthcare industry so I went back to school full time at Sherman College in Spartanburg, SC and became a Doctor of Chiropractic.

I love my career! What I love most is helping others and seeing them move to a level of health and wellness beyond their expectations and dreams by simply taking a proactive approach to their health.

Dr. George Nobles, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. George S. Nobles loves his role at The Joint Chiropractic and providing local healthcare services to more than one clinic location, Clarksville and Mount Juliet.

“I love the fact that we use our hands only to help people feel better and be healthier without drugs or surgery,” he says. “It’s rewarding to see the transformation people make while on their chiropractic journey.”

Dr. Nobles worked previously in Nashville, Knoxville, and Sevierville. A product of the south, he raised four stepchildren as his own. When he is not working or enjoying time with his family, he loves grilling and karaoke. “I’m too old to play sports,” he says.

He earned his doctorate from Life Chiropractic College in 1988 after getting associate degrees in chemistry and lighting design from Lansing Community College.

“I got interested in chiropractic when my daughter, who was 3 at the time, was having bronchial asthma attacks,” he says. “She got adjusted and never had an attack after that. That got my attention, and with encouragement from my chiropractor, I began my path to become a chiropractor. I”ve seen thousands of miracles in my career.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

If Dr. Nobles could bring together any four people from history for his ideal dinner party, he would send invitations to King David from the Old Testament of the Bible, and presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan.

He has served as a chaplain for the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department.

Dr. Nobles is a big fan of juicing and always keeps spinach and kale stocked in his refrigerator specifically for that purpose.

Dr. Aimee Duarte received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with Pre-Medical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. She worked at a non-profit in group homes with At-Risk Youth where she discovered the massive need for natural and cost effective health care. She discovered the philosophy of Chiropractic: the intelligence that created the body, can also heal it. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences and became Board Certified in 2015.

In her post graduate studies, Dr. Duarte attended Functional Medicine University where she became a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. She mastered Blood Chemistry Analysis in how to correct imbalances that lead to debilitating symptoms. She upholds the Chiropractic philosophy of giving the body what it needs to heal and allowing the intelligence to correct itself. She applies this philosophy to treat other ailments such as Peripheral Neuropathy, the nutritional deficiencies behind Type I and Type II Diabetes, hormone imbalances, and chronic pain.

Since initial licensing in 2015, Dr. Duarte has had extensive experience as an associate doctor in multidisciplinary practices that offered unique based health care services such as regenerative therapies in the form of stem cell and platelet rich plasma integrated with Chiropractic and Physical Therapy; functional medicine in the form of Reversing Type II Diabetes, and utilizing the latest technology in reversing peripheral neuropathy. Through this experience, her vision of combining all therapies under roof, a “one stop shop” so that any new patient that may be funneled into one or all programs, ultimately eliminating the need for expensive drugs or surgeries with adverse side effects and limited outcomes. Dr. Duarte founded Superior Wellness in June of 2021, an all encompassing wellness clinic offering three departments: Chiropractic services, functional medicine programs, and the peripheral neuropathy reversal program.

Dr. Rowen Pfeifer, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. Rowen S. Pfeifer became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2019, and in 2021 became a franchise owner to serve residents in Belleview and Jackson.

“The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping patients regain their health and decrease their pain,” he says. “I love the virtually constant positive feedback we receive from patients on a daily basis. The response they give with the adjustment of almost every area is extremely rewarding.”

Dr. Rowen, as his patients call him, has practiced in the greater Nashville area since 1987. He grew up in Wisconsin loving sports and having the freedom to explore. He and his wife of more than four decades have two adult children and a bijon who loves to chase squirrels and deer in the yard. He likes to relax through music, which includes playing guitar, drums, and singing classic rock songs. In addition to working around the yard, he enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and springboard and cliff diving.

Dr. Rowen graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he received his doctorate, after attending two years of pre-med at Middle Tennessee State. “I learned about chiropractic while searching for the principles of health and healing,” he says. “I ended up with an issue that required chiropractic care, the issue resolved, and a few years later I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

One of Dr. Rowen’s most memorable successes as a chiropractor took place when he was caring for a family who had a son who was a 12-year-old bed-wetter. “They had tried many options, without success,” he says. “After a short time of receiving adjustments, the bed-wetting stopped. He stayed under maintenance care for years. At age 18, he was a passenger in a van that flipped over resulting in trauma to the low back and a return of the bed wetting. We saw him more frequently for a short time and again resolved the issue.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

If he could bring together any four people from history for his ideal dinner party, Dr. Rowen would love to sit down with Albert Einstein, Jesus Christ, and Biblical heroes Moses and Abraham. “Talking science with Einstein would be amazing, but talking to the others about faith, commitment, love, and how to hear the Father’s still small voice would be life-changing,” he says.

Dr. Rowen says the coolest thing he has ever done was step out and shake things up. “I left a dead-end job at age 20 to play what’s now known as classic rock ‘n’ roll full-time on the road for three years,” he says. “Until then, I had never traveled more than an hour from where I was born. The experience helped me grow up and learn a lot about myself.”

The items that Dr. Rowen always keeps stocked in his kitchen are organic fruits and vegetables. “They’re always on hand at home so that I can make fruit smoothies and huge salads that I enjoy most every day of the week,” he says.

Dr. Craig Kuhar, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Mt. Juliet

Dr. Kuhar’s personal life experiences is the driving force behind his pursuit to be doctor of chiropractic. He grew up being involved in sports where, unfortunately, he suffered from multiple concussions and other injuries that resulted in his own health issues and performance deficits. He was constantly motivated to discover solutions to healing and improving himself to perform at his optimal potential. This unwillingness to give up lead to a 12-year educational journey to bring him where he is now. He graduated West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology and a minor in personal training. After training individuals for a period time, he realized that there was more to learn. He decided to advance his education at Life University where he would graduate with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. During his time at Life University he engaged in additional education where developed and earned a specialty in clinical and applied neuroscience. The passion and understanding of these techniques gave him an appreciation for the power, influence and importance of brain-based chiropractic adjustments. In his spare time, Dr. Kuhar enjoys working out, watching sports, engaging in outdoor activities, and learning how to optimize health. He is also a proud owner of two huskies named Luka and Malaki and a cat named Whiskey.
