Dr. Ryan Footit, D.C. was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin and has lived in Minneapolis, Chicago and now Nashville Tennessee. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, Ryan, was climbing the corporate ladder in Banking and Finance holding positions from personal banker, branch manager, and Director of Training and Development. While in Chicago, he attended National University of Health Sciences where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation he achieved his lifelong dream of moving to Nashville and opened his own private practice Footit to Health and Wellness.
His journey into chiropractic care came after suffering life long debilitating migraines that simply could not be managed via the traditional medical model. It was during his banking days a floating teller came in during one of his migraines and suggested he tried chiropractic. Like most people he was skeptical but was willing to try anything at that point. One chiropractic adjustment and almost 20 years of chronic migraines were immediately under control. Routine care has kept them away and changed his life. So much that he gave up a successful career to return to college for 5 more years to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Footit has a soft spot for migraine patients and loves the opportunity he gets to work with them. His professional journey almost a decade long has also given him the opportunity to treat sciatic pain, neck pain and lower back pain patients through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Footit has been the medical director and treating chiropractic physician in the Nashville areas since 2015. In addition to treating patients he presides over the management of the Brentwood, West End, Cool Springs, and Murfreesboro clinics. You are likely to see him in these clinics on any given day working with the Doctors, Wellness Coordinators, and treating patient.
Dr. Footit has a passion to provide exceptional chiropractic care thus helping others achieve their heath goals by maximizing function with a well-adjusted spine. His belief in routine chiropractic care is seen through his obtaining weekly chiropractic adjustments thus preventing pain and injuries while promoting optimal health and wellness. Dr. Footit has received extensive training through the ICPA-International Chiropractic Pediatric Assocaition in pediatric adjusting, prenatal adjusting and is certified in the Webster Technique.
During his free time Dr. Ryan spends a lot of time focusing on his life style modification journey which has allowed him to lose half of his body weight in less than one year. His focus now is on building muscle mass and obtaining an athletic physique. His journey has been featured stories on the local news stations and papers, national television such as the Pickler and Ben show as well as news articles and blogs worldwide.
Dr. Ryan also has a love and passion for Country Music which fueled his dream of moving to Nashville. As a chiropractor Dr. Footit has had the opportunity to adjust some of country music’s biggest stars but also hall of fame NFL football players, television and movie legends, and rock icons.
