Dr. Monica Harden joined The Joint Chiropractic team in December 2021 as the Chiropractic Physician for Lake Mary. Recently she has moved to the new DeLand clinic as the Clinic Lead/ Doctor of Chiropractic, licensed to practice in Florida.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University in 2011 and then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Medicine in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Harden and her husband opened their own chiropractic practice focusing on sports related injuries and wellness, in particular working with populations interested in weight training, powerlifting, CrossFit, and strongman. She herself competed in powerlifting for two years in USAPL and is still passionate about strength training.

Her postgraduate training includes learning manual therapy from Myodetox, blood flow restriction from Smart Tools, and various courses regarding rehabilitation which she implements into her care with all her patients.

Dr. Harden enjoys working with her patients and helping them reach their health goals and likes to educate her patients regarding their health whether it's related to aches and pains or maintaining wellness. Some of her hobbies include spending time with her family, weight training, painting/ drawing and traveling. She resides in the Deland area with her husband, son and two dogs.

I’ve been a patient for over a year and will probably be one until the day I die. When I first went to The Joint I had a lot of lower back troubles that were paired with a migraine that would bring me to tears.
