Meet The Doctors
Dr. Ellie grew up in Minnesota as an avid athlete and health advocate. “My favorite thing about chiropractic is helping those who other avenues have failed. There is a time and a place for every treatment, but most everyone can benefit from chiropractic care.” In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and kids and their four pets. Her family is more than enough to keep her busy! Dr. Ellie became interested in chiropractic through a family member who is also a chiropractor. “I loved how the adjustment got the body moving and relieved pain all in one.” Dr. Ellie is a huge Minnesota Wild fan and goes to as many games as she can.
Dr. Matt always wanted to work in healthcare. He started his career working as a phlebotomist while he was going to school to be a lab tech. While in school to become a lab tech he had his first chiropractic adjustment from Dr. James Husband in South Bend. Dr. Husband along with another chiropractor, Dr. Garry Fuller, who he would meet later in Brownsburg, IN, would be influential to his career choice of chiropractic.
Dr. Matt worked as a lab tech in hospitals, and doing pharmaceutical research in the greater Indianapolis are for 6 years, before going back to school to become a chiropractor. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he finished his bachelors of general science, and doctorate of chiropractic in February of 2021.
In his free time Dr. Matt enjoys spending time with his family in Plymouth, going fishing, hiking, kayaking, watching baseball (St. Louis Cardinals fan), traveling, cooking, going to the farmers markets, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Brianne Avery is originally from a small town in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. She grew up spending her time hiking waterfalls, camping in the Adirondacks, and relaxing by the lake.
She began her education at Finger Lakes Community College, where she also played volleyball for two years, before transferring to SUNY Cortland to earn her bachelor’s degree in Biology. While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Avery worked at a local winery and brewery, where she enjoyed connecting with her community.
In December 2023, Dr. Avery made the move to the Midwest and has been proud to call it home for over a year and a half. Outside the oƯice, she enjoys exploring her new surroundings, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
"Dr. Nick is a Denver, Colorado native. He completed his undergraduate and graduate work at Cleveland University in Kansas City, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016. He specializes in treating the entire family. During Dr. Nick’s freshman year in high school he was adopted by an amazing couple that completely changed their own lives by taking in two teenage boys. His new parents showed him the structure he never had and helped show him what he was truly capable of through hard work and perseverance. This lit a spark in Dr. Nick’s heart to want to give back and help as many people as he possibly could. The career that allowed his now Father to do this was Chiropractic, and it is the career path that chose Dr. Nick as well. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Jennica (who grew up in New BuƯalo), and their daughter Ava. As a family, they enjoy hiking, disc golf, board games, reading, movies, and just about anything you can do outdoors!
