Hailing from the Midwest’s Quad Cities, Dr. Michelle Gorman, who goes by Dr. Michelle, came to the beautiful city of Houston to further career and help and serve her community. As someone who has always been very active in life, she grew up with chiropractic care and knew there were huge benefits to living pain free. Through the encouragement of loved ones, she decided to study at Texas Chiropractic College. While there, she obtained two degrees, one in Biology and another in Chiropractic, and has used those along with her prior background to make an impact on the community and those she loves pertaining to their health. During her down time, Dr. Michelle enjoys spending time with family & friends, and powerlifting.
Dr. Jesse Roth was born in Detroit but raised in the beautiful city of Houston. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in History at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001. Upon graduating, he then decided to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College in 2006.
Dr. Roth’s passion for chiropractic care began when he was a teenager and was treated by a chiropractor and saw how his health benefited from that in many ways. Since then, being a chiropractor has always been a goal so he could provide those same benefits to the patients that he treats. Dr. Roth hopes to continue to grow and evolve as a doctor and is always striving to ensure each adjustment he gives leaves his patients feeling better.
During his free time, Dr. Roth enjoys working out, watching true crime, thrift shopping, and playing with his rescue dog, Mimi!
Adraine L. Mosely, DC is affectionately known as Dr. Mosely by her patients. Graduating with a B.A. in Music from Spelman College in 1979, she then pursued her passion for healing at Texas Chiropractic College, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2003.
Hailing from Houston, Texas, Dr. Mosely's journey into chiropractic care was sparked by a life-changing event—a car accident en route to a performance at the World's Fair in Knoxville, TN. Unable to move after three days, she sought chiropractic care, which not only alleviated her pain but also enhanced her performance abilities. It was this transformative experience that ignited her calling to become a chiropractor.
Throughout her career, Dr. Mosely has dedicated herself to helping patients improve their range of motion and alleviate pain through techniques learned in school, from fellow chiropractors, and through continuing education. Beyond patient care, she finds fulfillment in mentoring and encouraging young students to consider chiropractic as a profession.
With a diverse range of interests including Pilates, nature, travel, and music, Dr. Mosely embodies a holistic approach to life and wellness. She values privacy in her personal life, keeping details about her family and relationships confidential.
An avid enthusiast of Irene Cara's music, Dr. Mosely's ideal dinner party would include inspiring figures like Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, Steven Spielberg for his creative genius, and Barack and Michelle Obama for their positivity and inspiration.
One of her most memorable experiences was at the age of 16 when she embarked on a journey to connect with pen pals from various countries. This passion for cultural exchange continued as she traveled with an international educational group, fostering connections, performing music and dance, and inspiring high school students to pursue their dreams.
In her downtime, you'll find Dr. Mosely indulging in her favorite treat—Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream—a delightful addition to her vibrant and fulfilling life.
Dr. Sammy Calhoun is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for improving the lives of his patients through holistic health practices. He graduated from Texas Southern University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance and a Master's Degree in Kinesiology. Driven by a commitment to helping others, Dr. Calhoun pursued his chiropractic education at Texas Chiropractic College.
Originally from Palestine, Texas, Dr. Calhoun was deeply affected by the opioid crisis that devastated his smalltown community. This experience solidified his belief in the importance of holistic health and led him to a career in chiropractic care.
Dr. Calhoun finds immense satisfaction in his work, particularly in helping people feel better and meeting new individuals from all walks of life. Although he has primarily practiced in Houston, his roots in Palestine keep him grounded and connected to the values of his upbringing.
When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Calhoun enjoys powerlifting, spending time at the gun range, and perfecting his BBQ skills. He shares his life with his girlfriend and their three-year-old Great Dane. Dr. Calhoun is proud to be the first in his family to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
A staple in his fridge is always eggs, which he considers essential for his active lifestyle. If given the chance to host a dinner party with historical figures, he would invite Eazy E, Stan Lee, Malcolm X, and Langston Hughes to ask them if they accomplished everything they set out to do or if there was anything they would have done differently.
For Dr. Calhoun, the coolest thing he's ever done is becoming a chiropractor—a milestone that not only marked a personal achievement but also paved the way for him to make a lasting impact on his community.
