Dr. Garrett Buell grew up in Charleston, Illinois a small town in central Illinois. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2012 with a business management major and Logan University December 2016 with his DC degree.

Dr. Buell first started working in Indianapolis, IN and has also practiced in IL and OH. He started working for the Joint October 2023 and has been practicing in family chiropractic for the last 7 years. When asked Dr. Buell says the best thing about being a chiropractor is seeing the smile on a patient’s face after returning their ability to move!

In his spare time, he likes to read, run, boxing, and enjoy the world with his family. His wife Daysha and four kids (Graham, Graylie, Gretchen, and Gwendolyn) are the world to Dr. Buell and keep him always active.

In Case You Didn’t Know

One thing Dr. Buell could not do without is smoothies and has one almost every morning! The perfect dinner party to him would be Michael Jordan, GSP, Robert Kiyosaki, and his Grandpa Ron. His coolest experience with chiropractic came when his son was first adjusted. “Every night for the first couple months we would have to drive Graham around for hours to get him to sleep due to constipation and neck issues. Remarkably after his first adjustment Graham started having regular bowel movements and sleep through his first full night! Chiropractic has always blown me away with what it can heal and I want to bring that to my patients.”

Dr. Lisa is from Kansas City, Kansas. She is the 5th of 7 kids and was raised in a loud family with a lot of laughter. She received her undergraduate degree at St. Louis University and dual majors in Biology and Theology. She graduated chiropractic school from Logan University and graduated in 2003. She met her husband in chiropractic school. Previously, Dr. Lisa practiced with her husband in Lawrenceville, Illinois and Vincennes, Indiana where she still practices.

She joined The Joint in July 2024. Her favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping people stay active and able to do what they love. She also enjoys seeing patients of all ages from newborns and pregnant moms, to the elderly.

Dr. Lisa has 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. One son plays college baseball and one son plays college basketball. Her two daughters are still at home and play volleyball, basketball, and softball. Her favorite pastime is having a front row seat to their successes and athletic events.

Dr. Lisa has a habit of buying butter and toilet paper, even when she doesn’t need them. Her husband would call it hoarding, although she supplied toilet paper for neighbors during the Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020.

Has practiced chiropractic in Indianapolis for 14 years, Fort Wayne for 5 years, Madison for 4 years, and Sullivan for the past 8 years. Dr. Tom loves the outdoors and enjoys sports, music, and hiking. He played basketball and football in high school and football in college. He has one daughter named Avery Grace. She is 14 and attends Terre Haute North High School. Dr. Tom has adjusted Indy car drivers and many musicians including Fleetwood Mac, Korn, and Christina Aguilera. He became interested in chiropractic when he saw a Chiropractor for hip and foot issues. He registered for classes that same year.
