The Joint Red Mountain is my favorite location. Dr. Lance is top notch in the chiropractic world! His adjustments and technique are very thorough and effective. Whether you are the only patient in there or he has a full waiting room, he always takes his time. He has great suggestions about further strengthening specific muscles or muscle groups to improve posture and help decrease the numbness and tingling I get in my forearms. He adjusted me through my second pregnancy, and helped get everything aligned on those excruciating days when my hips were out. I clean residential and vacation homes, which can be tough on my body, but his adjustments are a great reset. My employees have also started going to this location! I have referred several friends and family members to him that prefer his adjustments as well. If you're looking for a great chiropractor, Dr. Lance is your go to! He is great with all ages and stages of life, he listens to what's going on and is always happy to see you!

I love the fact that I can get a quality adjustment anytime by just walking in! I don't have to make appointments weeks in advance. I can see the same doctor if I want or try them all out. It's a wonderful service. The private practices are very expensive and cumbersome to use even with insurance.

Every time I go, they're excellent. Genuinely every single person I've ever seen listens to what I tell them they address it and they do the full snap crackle and pop, usually never a wait, if so it's not more than 5 minutes. I recommend it for sure!!! Also do what I didn't get the package you won't regret it. Seriously I have like three left out of the 15 I purchased last year so I waited this long to do a review.... I needed an adjustment so bad....I had put it off for so long. I was driving by and stopped to see if they could fit me in. I have never been there so I had to fill out all the new patient paperwork and they literally got me in even though I walked in at 6:15 pm and they close at 7. The adjustment was amazing! I went in with right side of neck hurting and lower right pelvic pain. The next morning I was worse. My left and right side of neck was so stiff, I count not move it and my right hip was very painful.My left shoulder was very sore from him pressing down soooooooo hard. Good thing I was there only about 5 minutes. Will never go back there….?

I chose to come here since most places are closed by the time I’m off work. I arrived not too long after 5pm and I filled out the paperwork. The girl at the front desk told me that the Dr. does not take new patients after 5pm. The place was empty so I asked her how long does it take, she said about 20 mins for the exam consultation and adjustment. I asked her if they could take me in since the place it’s empty, she said she couldn’t because it was the company policy so I asked her to shred my paperwork and left.

I see Dr. Lance regularly specifically for my neck. I’ve been getting adjusted for decades and no chiropractor can adjustment my neck better than him ?! Dr. Jeff and Dr Taylor are also amazing! I one time I got my jaw area adjusted by Dr Jenna and it was life changing!!! Also you get to see the lovely Celeste when you first walk in who has the best relationships with her customers, she’s so friendly! I highly recommend going to the Joint for adjustments ?. I went to this chiropractor about 30 mins before closing time. She just rushed me out of there and did not do a thorough job. I left in more pain than I came in. Then I was harassed by the receptionist because she didn't know what she was doing on the computer. She called 5 times in a row! I was at a funeral. I was going to a different Joint to treat my shoulder. When I moved, the Red, Mountain location was closer when I went I was assigned to a small woman with red hair. I must admit I prejudged and boy was I wrong! This, Lady is amazing! She is pleasant. She is thorough and she does a better job than a man who weighs 100 pounds more than she does very impressed. I received the best adjustment I have ever had at this location yesterday! I had TEARS IN MY EYES from how good it was! I did 3 tours in Afghanistan. I was in a lot of service related pain when I went into the location in Mesa, AZ. Make sure you read the fine print. The sales person at the front desk was very nice and I let my guard down, plus I was not thinking that I might be taken advantage of. Beware: Your account will charged an extra month. It's a 2-month minimum. Make sure you use all your appointment slots because the visit allotments don't roll over in the next month. I have lost 8 members of my family to Covid and was in the process of attending funerals. I was out of town at a funeral and received an unexpected charge of $69. This location is very friendly. Great sales staff. Don't let your guard down and read everything carefully.

if I could rate them less than one star I would!!! Make sure you read the fine print. They will charge you an extra month. It's a 2-month minimum. Also make sure you go to every appointment because they will not let you make them up. I wound up having to go in and see a doctor. The doctor advised me not to go to the chiropractor until I was healed. By the time I was healed 3 weeks had gone by. They would not even let me receive my sessions that I had paid for. I will no longer give them any of my business.

To me it seemed like it was the convince store of chiropractic offices. Wasn’t very clean at all and the pricing is outrageous rig you have insurance go somewhere else. Very concerned. Is this even legal with the AZ health department? . As a retired physician I went with a friend this weekend. No chiropractor (2 there on that day) wore mask. Most people were older in the waiting area, with no mask. High volume of people in close spaces. People lay face down on a table and the only barrier is a small sheet of paper for the face that one chiropractic forgot to change out after a patient. Also people were all laying their arms on the arm rest. No cleaning between patients. The topper was a client who was face up while the chiropractor was sitting above their head adjusting their neck. Neither wore a mask. My son in law is a chiropractor in another state. In that state it’s required by the health department for medical professionals to wear a mask. Especially in close contact like a chiropractor who adjust the neck. And after each patient you clean the head area and arm rest of the table with a spray bottle of alcohol. Glad I am a retired ER physician. I feel for all the drs in this area with the rising covid cases. Your clients may not want to wear a mask, but if you went to medical school and run a medical practice, be smart. You owe it to your patients,

I dislike having to leave this review but I have called the Corporate office twice now and e-mailed them with no response so they obviously do not care to address the situation. We are usually seen at the Ocotillo location (which I highly recommend, the doctor there is wonderful) but we were out and about and decided to give another location a shot. We arrived and scanned in and the receptionist (who I thought handled the situation well and I truly felt bad that she was put in this situation) directed us to the back as the doctor was finishing up a phone call and would be with us shortly. We walked into the treatment area and were met by a woman with two small dogs. She brought them into another room and closed the door but we could still hear them yipping. Not much of a bother to us as we own a dog grooming salon BUT the conversation overheard was what we walked out for. The doctor was loudly discussing malpractice suits from two of his patients (and not in such kind and caring ways that I would expect from someone about to crack me). We sat there side eyeing each other for about fifteen minutes and the receptionist came back apologizing profusely and she informed the doctor that there were now three people waiting and we had been there a while. We could hear him say ok and we thought we were good. UNTIL His next statement to whoever was on the phone was "So let's talk about these other four guys that are bringing cases against me".....At this point we counted six cases he was discussing. I was somewhat interested in hearing what he had to say so we stuck around another five minutes for the shock value and then we decided to leave...no way was that guy touching either of us. We were offered ,by the receptionist, a free visit back at that location which we declined....no way will we be going back. We went to our normal office the next day and were treated well by that entire staff. I like The Joint and it's concept but from what we overheard and observed, I don't think that doctor should be practicing.

I have been receiving chiropractic care for years and was reluctant to try the joint because I've been seeing the same awesome old school chiro guys for years. But this has been great. Super convenient, very fast, good adjustments, great atmosphere and knowledgeable and kind chiropractors. It's an in-and-out place but they aren't afraid to take a few extra moments to suggest stretches and other helpful tips or answer questions. I would totally recommend giving the joint a try and seeing if it fits your needs. I just need fast, cheap, close maintenance and it's great for me! Saving so much time and money. Yay!!! Thanks guys!

I had injured my lower back and was in such pain that I needed to use a cane just to stand up. I decided to go to a chiropractor and chose The Joint on E. Mckellips Rd. I arrived just as they opened and was greeted by Dr. Jon Peterson. After filling out some paperwork I was escorted in back. Dr. Peterson was amazing, yes it did hurt to try and lay on the examining table and be moved around but as soon as Dr. Peterson did a couple of manipulations I started to feel immediate relief. I went home and slept a couple hours and when I woke up I was able to walk without using my cane. The next morning I was still a little bit achy but nothing like I was the day before and I was able to go to work. I plan on doing follow up visits and I would definitely recommend The Joint and Dr.Peterson to anyone who is experiencing back pain.

I just took my 18 year old son to this location because he is experiencing a lot of pain. We arrived at 6:08pm and approached the counter. The female staff member greeted us and I told her I wanted to have my son seen. I further advised that he is a new patient. She then told me that they want new patients to arrive one hour before closing so he could not be seen tonight (they close at 7:00pm). She asked if I had been there before and I told her I had. She then asked me if I wanted to get an adjustment (or maybe...hopefully she was asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment?). I told her no, that we were there for my son's urgent need and that he was having a very difficult time. She then gave my son paperwork to complete and said he could return tomorrow to be seen. He reluctantly took the paperwork and we left. I was pretty stunned that he could not be seen. There was only 1 person in the waiting area. After we got to the car my son indicated he did not want to return to be seen tomorrow even though he was in a great deal of pain. At that point I returned to the office and placed the paperwork on the desk in the reception area. The staff member appeared to be on her cell phone and there was no interaction. I am still really surprised and disappointed by the experience.

My chiropractor before this office was a small, privately owned doc. At first I wasn't sure about a more 'corporate' approach to chiropractic care but that was a fleeting moment. I've been a patient here for almost three years and I love both doctors and the front desk gal is always friendly. They get to know you on a first name basis and my adjustments are great, pain free and keep me aligned! Highly recommend.

Dr. Peterson is a true professional. Caring for each patient. Very knowledgeable in the neck and spine. Nice and honest guy that is hard to find in the Chiropractic field. I had been to two previous Chiropractors before Dr. Peterson. Both of them seem to not address the true issue and I never seemed to fully recover. My situation with my upper back would re-occur in time...after time. However, when I visited Dr. Peterson (on recommendation by wife's friend) he seemed to genuinely care, listen, and after trying to problem solve my issue with a few visits I was CURED! No more ibuprofen excess for this guy. Dr. Peterson gave me stretches and exercise to do daily to further increase my back would shape back up. Results may vary depending on how light or severe your situation may be with the neck and/or back, but Dr. Peterson will do his best to see you live in less; to no pain. Dr. Peterson enjoys what he does and makes the complications of the neck and spinal cord more simple for his patients.

Walked into the office and the chiropractor said he was with new patients and would be right with me. While he was in the back 4 more people came in the office and scanned their card as they were returning customers. I am a new customer and thusly had no card to scan to get into the system. The chiro then walks out and calls back the lady that walked in 10 minutes after me. As soon as she left, he called back another that had scanned her card. All after I had been waiting 30 minutes patiently. It's rediculous that a business would operate this way and blow off a new customer. I would strongly discourage any one from using this chiro. Huge lack of professionalism.
