I went in for my first initial appointment today and left feeling extremely frustrated. First, I want to say that the doctor was wonderful. He was kind, professional, explained everything thoroughly, and checked on me after each adjustment to make sure I was comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints about the care I received from him. My issue was entirely with the front desk staff. I work in sales myself, so I completely understand earning commission and presenting membership options. However, there is a huge difference between educating someone about a membership and using high-pressure, misleading sales tactics. I came in with a Groupon, so my appointment was already paid for. Before I had even had a chance to see how my body responded to my very first adjustment, I was being pressured to sign up for the $79 monthly membership. I politely explained multiple times that I wasn’t comfortable committing yet. Since it was my first chiropractic adjustment ever, I wanted to wait a few days to see how I felt before making a decision. I even told her I was perfectly fine paying the $55 walk-in rate if I decided to come back. Instead of respecting my decision, she insisted that I had to pay the $79 that day and said I could “just call within the next hour for a refund” if I changed my mind. That made absolutely no sense and was a huge red flag. If I’m not ready to sign up, why would I need to pay first and then hope I can get my money back? It felt incredibly manipulative and designed to pressure people into a membership they had already said they weren’t ready for. I honestly felt trapped. It got to the point where I considered paying the $79 simply because I wanted to leave and end the uncomfortable conversation..not because I actually wanted the membership. No customer should ever feel pressured into handing over their credit card just to get out the door. It’s unfortunate because the doctor made a great first impression, but the aggressive and pushy sales tactics at the front desk completely ruined the experience. The entire interaction felt more like being sold to than being cared for, and it left me questioning the integrity of the business. Please train your front desk staff to respect a customer’s decision the first time they say “no.” High-pressure sales tactics do not work in medical settings.

I booked on a Sunday online for Monday appointment with ease. Walked in and did the quick paperwork needed. Had a very bad stiff neck with level 8 pain that was quickly looked at. I signed up for the 6 month subscription. Was told I could cancel after a certain time. My back got worse after not going for a week and a half do to vacation. When i was able to cancel, I called and cancelled and they still charged me. They are verry rough with the adjusting also.

Last November I could hardly walk up stairs , my hip pain made it so uncomfortable- pitching from side to side -not walking but lurching. No stabilization, my hips freezing up, one leg shorter than other. I was in agony. Presto I found Joint Chiropractic off Bee Ridge close to Siesta Dr. Even better it’s a walk in clinic- no appts. I am usually in and out in 5-10 mins. They always have two Docs on duty with a Receptionist and they run a tremendous business. I worked with Dr. Brandon the first time and could actually walk out in much less pain. Next time I had Dr Hana- a fearless and mighty barbarian. Wowza. I might have met Jesus. I was hooked. Next time I met the effervescent and cool Dr Butler who gives massages to loosen you up before the adjustment. He also plays golf so you know how delicious a treatment is after a difficult 18- Dr. Butler knows and sympathizes and gets you back in full working order before you leave. These guys/gals are the real deal and there is enough variety and individual style that you have e unlimited options for Docs. They are all strong , the barbarian, maybe she’s an Amazon, whoops I mean Dr Hana (full respect) is as tough as they come At the same time the patient can drive the process 1. Not so hard 2. My neck is sensitive can you do something else……3. What is an alternative we can try. They have all the answers. They have a Very straightforward payment option.. I was initially in the one month play: get diagnosis and plan with the fabulous Dr Brandon, go 2-3 times a week for the first month. (Literally you walk in and out in 10 mins.- it takes no time my legs are even, my neck is correctly positioned and I’ve gained a few inches with no pain!!! I can walk up stairs!! I am traveling a lot for a few months so I have twenty visits that never expire. I mean really, these folks want you to come in and get adjusted and get better. They care. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the receptionists (Christy you know how much we all love and appreciate you). There are two others who I love , but I wanted to touch base before I put their names in Print.. So here’s the bottom line: supper qualified staff with many patient options, easy to get to, great hours, free parking , wonderful different payment plans for services that you choose. I can truly say “try them, it will probably work out for you” Here’s to all of our health improving this year! Thank you Dr. Brandon, et al. You provide a tremendous service . Been to many chiropractors over the years! Today I was in Florida with a kink in my hip. Came to the center and was treated. I was very pleased with the care. They listened and helped. My normal 2 chiropractors never seem to get my hip Back in line except with repeatedly coming back, to where I just deal with it at 50.00 a pop. So when ever in FL, I will visit after my 8 hour drive! I am even going to try the Georgia location, reviews there not so good but seems the recently got new Dr, so we shall see. ... the have a lot to step up to after my visit to Florida center. Thanks team for fixing on 1st visit! I do understand sometimes things require more treatments but going on a regular helps!!

Came in to set up a schedule to help adjust my hips, and set up a schedule to be seen once a week. Long story short, I spent over $400 and didn't use a single session due to relocating and when I tried to use my sessions, turns out they apparently "expire" if they aren't used and so the 3-4 months I paid for my program, I didn't use a single session and basically donated my money to this place and did not receive a service. I work in a similar industry and we always work around people's situations and help them out because that's what a good business model does for a paying customer, but this business I guess does not believe in doing so. It's a shame but is what it is I suppose.

Make sure to check your billing account — this place is a complete joke. I canceled my membership over the phone back in August, but they’ve continued to charge me $79 every month since then. When I called on Wednesday, they told me I was supposed to fill out a form to cancel — something no one ever mentioned before. I asked to speak with a manager, and they transferred me to Dr. Jacobs, who said there’s nothing he can do and that I needed to contact Dr. Hanna. I did, but the receptionist said she’s busy and repeated that there’s nothing they can do without a signature. So after canceling properly months ago, they’ve been charging me for three months for a service I’m not even using. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Be very careful before signing up — they make it easy to take your money and impossible to cancel

I came in for some rather uncomfortable back and shoulder pain. The receptionist, Christy, was very helpful in tentative. Dr. Jacob work intently to help resolve my pain. I've struggled with back pain pretty much my whole life and never had a chiropractor spend that much time trying to realign my back. I came back the next day and he preformed additional adjustment and i finally am starting to feel better!!

I visited The Joint last month for their "$29 New Patient" promotion. During my visit, I was upsold on a service, which I was fine with, even though I knew I’d likely never use it. I liked the chiropractor and had no complaints there. However, I later discovered I had been misinformed and had unknowingly signed a “contract.” When I called to cancel, I didn’t expect a refund—just wanted to express my dissatisfaction and clarify the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk was extremely unprofessional, repeatedly talking over me, telling me I “should have read what I signed” because it was in “big print,” and dismissing my concerns. When I finally asked for her name, she hung up on me. One of the chiropractors did call me back afterward and resolved the issue, which I appreciated. But the receptionist’s behavior was completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the business.

Saturday appointments easy to get and great for unexpected back pain. Super affordable compared to other places in the area, especially with a treatment plan. Without making this sound like fake reviews, this was the best advice, I’ve heard and specifically Dr Butler on UTC, now I hope this review doesn’t get overlooked as fake because this helped me figure out that I had semi scoliosis that my doctor couldn’t find in me, lowkey recommend this place for its monthly fee and weekly check!

From the doctors to the staff everyone was extremely professional. There is an extremely welcoming atmosphere in the office and a sense of friendly camaraderie. Staff seemed to be properly trained and Doctors seem very seasoned. I would recommend this practice.

This place is a scam. They kept charging me 79.00 a month when I requested to pause all my services last year. When I disputed the charges with my bank they sided with this shady business. Additionally, they charged me 58.04 when I hadn’t even made a visit. Don’t give this place your card info, you’ll regret it if you do.

I have been going to chiropractors my entire life. I have a family member who is a chiropractor, so I have vast experiences for comparison and can honestly say I LOVE going to The Joint for chiropractic care. I even switched from another local chiropractor to go to The Joint. They make it incredibly convenient, accessible and affordable to get the care you need, when you need it. Every time I have gone the adjustments have been great. So far I have been adjusted by Dr. Ken, Dr. Nick and Dr. Butler (sorry if that last name is wrong he is fantastic). Why do I love this place so much that I would write this review? For the first time ever I can just pop in on a whim when I need it most! No appointment is ever need and they are open nights and weekends. We have started to make it our routine to go on Sundays after church, you could never do that with any other practice. That’s why I think this place is fantastic. A few months ago I fell off a ladder and was injured, I called my regular chiropractor and the office made a comment that I had not been in for a year so she would have to schedule me as a new patient and it would be several weeks before I could be seen. Needless to say I gave up on that doc and decided to give The Joint a try, I am glad I did. At The Joint you are just seen right away! It doesn’t matter if you are new or an existing patient, or a one hit wonder from out of town. Some people think they are held hostage to their insurance, in reality the cost of my insurance copayments are the same as if I prepay for a package of visits to the Joint and I can use them whenever I want. I don’t need insurance because my out of pocket is the same! In Florida my package vista don’t expire and I pay with my HSA card. This place is a win on every level. I even have my husband going regularly. I haven’t tried it yet but they say you can go to other franchises when you travel. I am thrilled by that, so many times after a flight to VA to visit grandkids I am in pain. No more waiting until I am back home, I already checked and there is The Joint in VA beach! I wish all healthcare was this user friendly.

I had a great experience with Dr Jacob at The Joint Chiropractic clinic! I didn’t realize that I was so out of kilter until Dr Jacob pointed out the things that were causing pain, all down the left side of my body. I had been having little nagging pains in different areas…the kind you don’t pay attention to until they accumulate to become a big deal. After the first visit with Dr Jacob, most of those nagging pains were diminished or just no longer there! I go to this chain bc it’s quick, impersonal and gets the job done. The docs here are usually just ok at best.. they crack the neck, pop the back and I’m out in 5 words or less. I was expecting the same thing when I dropped in Sunday after some shopping and didn’t think much of it when a tiny blond welcomed me around the corner. She asked me any special place but I wasn’t in any particular stiffness and just said “maybe neck and low back” Y’all. I was not ready for this. Megan cracked my neck more thoroughly than any other chiro had before. It wasn’t just that hard shove and pop. It was every single vertebrae. I didn’t think my neck could feel this -juicy- this side of 40 but I was rotating like an owl the entire ride home. And it wasn’t just that.. sure she cracked the back… but then she asked me any I had any hip or knee injuries and as soon as I said no she did this maneuver that popped hip, knee and ankle on both side. I run and cycle and sit at a desk all day. I just accepted that I was suppose to feel stiff every time it rains. I swear I left today feeling half an inch taller. I literally bought a pack of classes for the first time and this is someone who won’t even pay for a streaming membership. Go see Megan. She’s tiny but she gets it done.

Sadly as of 11/2024 Dr Silver is not practicing at this location anymore, a huge loss for his patients. ? Updated to say Dr. Jacob, Dr. Silver & Dr. Andrew are THE BEST!! This review is long overdue and much deserved. I came from a local chiropractic office that was great but consistently made appointments which I’d have to wait 45min to be seen & their pricing was high for self pay, great doctors but just annoying waits & pricing. Came to The Joint last fall with severe back & SI pain from an injury and have been so impressed, with this location especially! Always a great adjustment that provides immediate relief, improved sleep, better alignment I can actually feel, no waits & straightforward affordable pricing! The added bonus is if I’m out of the area traveling sleeping on a new bed, long drive or new activities stressing my body I can be seen anywhere they have a location with the same great care! The owner here must take great care of his Docs because they always have wonderful attitude & are very caring. Please open a location further east in Lakewood Ranch ??

The Dr's listen to my concerns and problem areas. When I first arrived I could barely walk my lower back and hips were in so much pain I had to use a cane to walk. After the first adjustment I was able to start moving a little better. Also I have a spinal problem and constant headaches. They have managed to help realign my spine and hips. I've really hesitated writing this review as I don't think it fairly represents the actual facility and all Chiropractors that practice there, however, I do feel it is important to share my experience. Firstly, the positive. The front desk staff was always super friendly and stayed calm and positive even when it was very busy. They were always kind, and answered any questions I might have had. Most of the Chiropractors I saw offered the same. Typically, I felt cared for and treated effectively even with it being a short "in and out" appointment. I liked that I didn't need to book in an appointment and could walk in any time that was convenient for me. Unfortunately, the experience that I had with one particular Chiropractor outshines all of that. During a treatment, I was adjusted in a way that I had never been adjusted. I felt pain, but it wasn't overwhelming, so I went home and carried on with my day. Though out the course of the day, the pain got worse, and my mobility decreased. I was not able to sleep because the pain was so bad and could no longer move my arm due to the pain in my shoulder. The next day, I called the office to report what I was feeling and ask if they would recommend I seek care. I spoke with that particular Chiropractor on the phone and he said it was a normal response and that my body was just not used to the adjustment I received. He suggested that if I was still in pain, I could come back and he would treat me again. My pain continued, so I followed his suggestion and went back in to see him. This is the part where I should have known better, but as a professional, I trusted what he said, and went back in. He adjusted my back in the same manner that initially injured me, except this time I heard a loud "pop" (not the same sound as when you're adjusted) and felt so much pain that I started to black out and was nauseous; I was obviously crying at this point and the Chiropractor seemed to be really put off- he didn't act in a way that demonstrated concern for me and made me feel like I was overreacting. It was pretty obvious that I was hurt and he made no recommendation to seek medical care, and left me with the impression that what I was experiencing was normal. In hindsight, he totally gaslit me into thinking that I was the problem, not the adjustment. It was unprofessional and I trusted his judgement unfortunately and didn't seek medical care immediately. Now, almost 7 months later, I am still in pain daily. My shoulder is seriously injured and I'm being told that I will likely need surgery to repair the damage. I realize these things are not done on purpose and any time manual therapy is used, there are risks. However, I do feel like it should have, and could have been dealt with more professionally, and it was negligent to normalize what I had experienced, as it discouraged me from seeking medical care immediately. Ultimately the responsibility falls on me for trusting him; I should have trusted my instincts, but I unfortunately held the opinion of a profession in high regard, and patients should be able to trust that the recommendations they are getting are in their best interest.

I'm so happy that I found this chiropractic, the doctors and desk staff here are so welcoming. Doctor Jose he's the first doctor adjusted my spine. He's great, he even gave advice how to take care about my lower back and it helps me a lot and he cares about you. but I got sad when he left the joint. After I found out that he left, I tried to visit the joint in Siesta Row and I met Doctor Omar, He is friendly, kind, and a great teacher. Pretty happy with the adjustments I've gotten at this place. But not so happy with the communication from the front desk. Bought a monthly package and had miscommunication with multiple staff on the adjustments expiration date, showed up on the date i was told was the last day to use a sessionfor the month, and whoops it was acrually yesterday. Ended up losing visits due to it. That will be the last package I do with this place.

Horrendous! I booked through Groupon and got denied an appointment. They said they don’t use Groupon because they don’t make any money from it. The only reason giving three stars because we loved one doctor there, Dr. Manuel. He was amazing. Otherwise another doctor that we tried twice hurt our necks. The front desk guy (middle aged super rude skinny guy) was horrible to us on several occasions. First time we had a Groupon. He had no idea how to redeem it and laughed saying that it’s not his job to deal with “Groupon people”. Several times after that he was just extremely nasty for absolutely no reason. The last time that made us quit our memberships we asked to use one session for me and my son that we couldn’t due to the place being closed because of the hurricane he said in a very loud nasty way that we were free loaders trying to get free sessions. I would never go back there ever. There are so many other chiropractic practices in Sarasota that actually value customers and their money.

Good. Like real good. I love all the doctor's who help me, they are all very handsome (or pretty), they have nice strong hands to pop me in places nobody else can pop me, and they laugh at all my jokes so we all have a great time ? Now I have to admit, the quality of the lifesaver mints in the bowls that they set out are second to none, straight from the bag freshness. They aren't chewy or stale like other chiro offices. And every single person who helps you at the front desk is very helpful, and full of life and character (and they usually chop anyone who isn't so the standards stay high). I believe everyone there deserves a raise and a new car, and you should pay double just for the extra special service they provide. (They even have a machine that magically produces water into a cup from whence you can drink, this is a high class establishment)

Unfortunately, just another example of a company that loves to charge your card monthly but makes it difficult to cancel. They have always said you can cancel at anytime as long as you fulfill your 2 month committment. No Problem. But never said you have to do it in person. I called to cancel my membership earlier today but the customer service rep would not do it unless I went in person. I am out of town and will not return for a couple weeks. In today's world we can't cancel digitally?? Really?? So by the time I'm able to go in person, I will have paif for 2 months for nothing. I have no use for companies that can't bill legitimately for services rendered.

My mom walked into The Joint on March 15th, 2021. It took her 10 min to walk from the car to the bench inside the building. She did the $29 assessment, consultation and adjustment by Dr.Stan. Within a week he was able to help her have comfort and Relief of the pain she was having for a long time. The council, Home care exercises, and the staff have brought a whole Wellness of life to my mom. She Comes once a week to the joint and now she is able to not only walk but do Jazzercise Weekly, along with weights free of pain.!!!!! She will be 90 very soon and living the best life ever. Some of our family has started to come to the joint also and has enjoyed this incredible wellness of life also. Our family is so grateful that we can go anywhere and get this kind of care. My son threw his back out of alignment at school, and was experiencing sharp pain. I called around and spoke with several chiropractors. When I reached Joint Chiropractic at UTC, I was able to get him in with a slight wait. They were extremely busy, kind, and accommodating upon greeting. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable while we waited. When my son was called back, the Chiropractor took his time and thoroughly assessed my son. When treatment started, he utilized soft tissue manipulation prior to his adjustment. When we walked out, my son felt no pain and was very relieved! We returned for a follow-up visit, and were greeted warmly. They remembered us from our first visit, and we were seen right away. My sons second adjustment was just as thorough as his first. The chiropractor reviewed his file and how he was feeling, along with how his prior adjustment held. My son left the office feeling relaxed and pain free. My son is an athlete and we chose to purchase the monthly plan, as our experience was extremely positive. I was a massage therapist in a chiropractic office for 13 years. I am very happy we the kindness of the office staff, and care and thoroughness of the chiropractors.

I have bad neck and shoulder issues from being a waitress and bartender from time to time but did not want to pay for an expensive chiropractor and have to deal with the hassle of insurance. This is why I love the Joint! It is super convenient to not have to make appointments and walk in whenever I have the chance to get adjusted or need it. I wish I had a 5 Star rating experience, but unfortunately I did not. I was literally 'adjusted' for about 20 seconds (I wish I was kidding) and she was done. My body did not crack once and I'm pretty sure nothing was adjusted. There's a reason there is nvr a wait and you 'get right in' as one review stated. Because they spend such little time on you.

This place has been the best experience I have ever had with a chiropractic practice. (see my other reviews for one to steer clear of). All of the Doctors here have their own specialties in terms of making adjustments. All are quite thorough as well. I have been suffering from a pinched nerve for about six months now, and discovered The Joint about 4 months ago. The numbness in my fingers has nearly subsided, and the doctors here keep me mostly pain free! Their monthly fee is reasonable, and their offices are very streamlined, you get in, you get adjusted, and it's all so quick, highly unlike most doctors' offices and clinics etc. lf you are looking for a chiropractor this is The One.

Front desk staff not wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Did not make it further to see if the Dr is. Unbelievable, stay away. Also I called the day before, made an 11am appointment by phone. Upon arrival I was told by the masskless girl at reception that it is walk-in (was not told this by phone) and she has no idea where the Dr is come back and try again at 12pm. Edit: in response to your reply, not sure what records but I was very definitely at your location across from Best Buy at University Town Center, Sarasota. Please do not cast doubt on my review.

If you are like me, then you have never been to a Chiropractor prior to going to the Joint. My mom finally convinced me to go after years of lower back pain. I only have good things to say. Every question or concern I have is answered from a knowledgeable team member. I feel that I am in safe hands. After every session of being adjusted I leave feeling very relaxed with no pain. I have been instructed to complete some stretches in-between sessions. So don’t go in thinking that you don’t have homework, all good things to those who put in the work.

It was my first visit to this location on Saturday 9/5/20 at about 10am. I had called ahead of time and they got me in right away. Dr. Stan was great! He examined me, felt around for the knots and areas of resistance and massaged them out a little. He then adjusted me in the usual ways and a couple others I didn’t expect like my knees and hips. I had been having upper back and neck pain and stiffness for a couple days and within an hour after the adjustments it was all gone. I felt great! I like the convenience of The Joint. They don’t require X-rays and don’t do TENS therapy etc. from what I can tell. Not that any of that is bad, as I’ve had all that done in the past, but for my treatment I feel all that is unnecessary.

I was impressed by how quickly I was able to get adjusted. I walked in with neck-pain (no-appointment needed), filled out some medical paperwork, and received my first adjustment within 5-10 minutes of walking through the door. The staff is friendly and polite and the chiropractor is professional and helpful. Doctor Stan seemed to sincerely want to help me and was very transparent about what he felt was wrong with my back and neck. He gave me advice on stretches for me to do at home in addition to the adjustments he performed at the office and I feel like the treatment is alleviating my neck pain in addition to supporting a healthy posture. I find that the cost is quite affordable, especially if you decide to commit to a subscription plan which brings the cost of each visit to around $20.

Had a mediocre adjustment when they first opened. Fees are a bit high given the service to date. I am a transplant from ATL, but giving this location another try. NIce people, I hope the actual adjustment service gets better.
