Meet The Doctors
Growing up in a family of first responders, Elaina always knew that she wanted a career helping the people within her community. As a young girl, you could find her riding her horse or riding a four-wheeler. Both led to many tosses and tumbles, which over the years were accompanied with aches and pains. As time went on, she started seeking care from a chiropractor, not only for the aches and pains she was experiencing but also for improvement of her posture while riding. After a few short weeks of care, she could see the improvement in her riding posture, had less aches and pains and could feel her overall sense of wellness improving! Elaina saw so much improvement from herself being adjusted that she started having her family, horses, and pets checked! Now every member of her family receives chiropractic care. From that point on she knew she wanted to be a chiropractor!
Dr. Shelton graduated from the University of Cleveland - Kansas City where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She is focused on providing a natural alternative to health care which allows the nervous system to function at its’ highest potential without interference. She is also certified in Webster technique which specializes in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care.
Outside of work, Dr. Shelton really enjoys spending time with her fiancé, two dogs “Norman and Kingsley”, cat “Patrick”, and horse “Mr. Ace”. She also enjoys fishing, horseback riding, riding four wheelers, and a good burger and fries. Her favorite place to visit is Haystack Rock on Canon Beach in Oregon. Dr. Shelton was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and loves to support her Kansas City Chiefs! Go Chiefs!!
From a young age, Dr. Connor Thomas experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of chiropractic care. Growing up with debilitating migraines that affected both his academics and athletics, he finally found relief through chiropractic treatments in high school—and knew he wanted to offer that same kind of healing to others. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas and has since been passionate about helping patients achieve their unique health goals.
Dr. Thomas believes there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to care. Every patient has different needs, and his treatment plans are designed to meet each person where they are while guiding them toward their goals. One case that stands out in his career involves a truck driver who, after years of struggling to walk or sleep comfortably following long drives, regained pain-free movement and finally enjoyed a good night’s rest thanks to tailored chiropractic care. Certified in various soft tissue techniques, Dr. Thomas combines multiple approaches to help families live healthier, higher-quality lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally. He’s committed to continuous learning, regularly attending technique seminars to stay at the forefront of the field. His philosophy is proactive: you only get one spine, so it’s worth taking care of.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Thomas enjoys working out, playing golf, basketball, and tennis, and spending time outdoors. A former college punter, he lives by the motto, “It’s not whether or not you get knocked down, it’s how you get back up and respond.”
