Dr. Costa began his career in healthcare in Emergency Medicine in his native Boston. His experience seeing the results of EMT’s, and Paramedics recovering from back injuries with chiropractic care inspired him to study Chiropractic. After 6 years in practice, he furthered his studies and after a four-year fellowship program became Board certified in Chiropractic Orthopedics (DABC0). This training included advanced study in diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation as well as functional medicine. He was selected by The Osher Center of Harvard Medical School to be a chiropractic provider in alternative medicine research, and a provider in Harvard Vanguard Medical Center. He also was a speaker and panelist at Harvard Medical School training programs. He had taught Anatomy and Physiology and other clinical subjects at Mercy University and other public and private schools and published articles in Chiropractic journals and local papers as well being a guest on local radio and cable television.

Dr. Costa recently relocated to Montgomery County to be closer to family. He enjoys swimming and cycling, jazz, blues and classic rock, theater, cooking, and a good novel.
