Dr. Monet Wilson received her bachelors degree in biology pre-health with a minor in chemistry from The Alabama State University in 2018. She recently moved back to Montgomery, Al after earning her doctorate of chiropractic degree from Life University in 2022.
Dr. Monet Wilson has been on the path to becoming a doctor since a young age. Starting at Rancho High school in Las Vegas, NV, she participated in the medical magnet program. She then attended Alabama State University and had the honor of being selected for a medical mission trip to Peru where she assisted the doctors in surgeries, births, and taking blood pressure for patients. Soon after this trip Dr. Wilson realized throughout her lifetime whenever feeling ill she always chose the holistic route. This led her to switch from becoming a MD to a DC.
Before receiving chiropractic care Dr. Wilson would experience lower back pain when standing longer than 30 minutes. Once she received chiropractic care she saw immediate results and knew this was the route she wanted to take so that others may experience the same.
Dr. Wilson loves helping people of all ages, from infants to elderly as well as expecting mothers. Dr. Wilson believes in doing soft tissue work as well as stretching to help maintain the best spinal health possible.
“I look forward to serving everyone with a spine to promote a healthy life through principled chiropractic care!"
Hello, and welcome! My name is JP Mawi, and I am a Doctor or Chiropractic graduate from Logan University. I just moved down to Alabama am very excited to help everyone in these communities increase their quality of life through chiropractic.
Before going to Logan, I received my Bachelor’s in Allied Health at Graceland University. I was an NAIA collegiate volleyball player there. I learned more about chiropractic through a trainer/professor who also went to Logan University. As volleyball players, we were susceptible to sprained ankles and overuse shoulder injuries. Our trainer did a great job at helping us prevent these injuries by getting ahead of the problem. He showed me how the body can help itself in preventing future pain and injuries. I already knew I wanted to be in a profession where I could make a difference in people’s health and then chiropractic came to me.
I was born and raised in Saint Louis Missouri. Outside of chiropractic, I enjoy golfing, working out, watching documentaries, and enjoying time with my wife and puppy Bentley.
Dr. Charlai Williams began her road to be a chiropractor by studying Exercise Science at Coastal Carolina University and proceeded a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Utica College. During her time as a student she suffered from migraines and headaches which made her reach out to receive chiropractic care. She became a patient of The Joint and went to Logan University to continue her chiropractic studies. After successful treatments and dietary changes in her own chiropractic journey, she continues to educate and help others become mindful of their health and take better care of themselves. She enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking, reading books, and travelling.
