Meet The Doctors
Dr. Aaron DeChant grew up in northern Ohio and was blessed to learn about and experience chiropractic through his uncle, who is a chiropractor and who inspired him to become a chiropractor.
He graduated from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri in 2015.
He and his wife and their four children have been in Alaska for four years and love all the opportunities to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. They frequently get out and enjoy the sunshine and all of the hikes Alaska has to offer. Some of their favorites are Albert Loop out at the Eagle River Nature Center, Baldy, and Arctic Valley. Their favorite events to attend seasonally are the Iditarod as well as the Alaska State Fair in Palmer.
As a chiropractor his top priority is making sure that you are functioning at your best so you can live your best life. He looks forward to working with each patient and helping you reach optimal health!
Dr. McKenzie Ellingham was born and raised in western New York just outside of Rochester. She attended New York Chiropractic College, now Northeast College of Health Sciences, in Seneca Falls, NY and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2017.
She came to learn about chiropractic from a sports injury she sustained in high school that no other practitioner was able to address. Since then, she has been dedicated to chiropractic and the pursuit of hands-on care with a keen interest in headache and migraine care.
Dr. Ellingham has called Alaska home since 2019 after falling in love with the state while in chiropractic college. She has been all over Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, and spent a few years practicing above the Arctic Circle in Kotzebue as well! When she's not practicing, Dr. Ellingham loves spending time with her family, taking her dog Bailey on walks, and enjoying what Alaska has to offer- especially salmon! One of her favorite experiences in Alaska has to be seeing the fireweed in bloom along the hills making them turn from green to vibrant purple.
In addition to her work as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Ellingham is also a rockstar in the classroom teaching anatomy, physiology, assessment, and orthopedic examination skills to massage therapy students at Alaska Career College in Anchorage.
